  • Oh pigpen - she is a wee sweetie :D:D:D I'm still shocked about the fire.

Toots -which Disney store were you in?

I think Michelle McManus is singing on the fivethirty show. I've not seen her on tv/in the papers/mags for ages. Oh and completely bizarre...I was in a cheapy shop last week (Edinburgh Bargain Stores in South Clerk St) and Lucinda Ledgerwood from the Apprentice was in there. Thought she'd shop at Harvey Nicks ;)

That was a very productive hour challenge lol. I did the kitchen, emptied the food shelves, wiped down and changed the cupboards around. Obviously I have nothing else to do....

    Hiya
Well, i've tidied a few light things. I've finally got my new patches but had to laugh when I read the box....you can only put these ones on your lower abdomen.....how do you do that when it's entirely covered by a great big dressing put on by the district nurse!!! If you don't laugh you cry!!! xx

Christmas tesco shop updated.. I added some beer and christmas cake so we will then be more than sorted until the next delivery on the 29th.

It does mean I cannot buy anything else though online for christmas as I won't have any more money until Wednesday..

I am so cheeky I am going to ask my BIL to do me a tab at his butchers and pay it off when hubby gets paid at the end of the month.. I know it is a liberty but given the circumstances.. and it is family! I also volunteered to be my sisters birthing partner IF she goes into labour and BIL is run off his feet at work.. she is adamant she doesn't want her mother there so I offered my services... I have at least 1 purpose in life!

Now.. what did I do with my list?

soappie - well done!! It was a lovely thing to do (and brave, going into a toy shop this close to Christmas ;) )

Pigpen - I always thought troubles came in threes... you MUST have had your share by now. Hope you all feel better soon

Builder came today... I left, got my toenails done, and then went shopping in an attempt to avoid him... he called when I was on my way back, and to be fair, he has almost finished. His wife isn't well, so he's gone, and I've got my keys back. It also sounds like he finally gave in today and rang the place that supplied the tiles to ask their advice. So at some point, either I need to get someone else, or he needs to come back, to finish cleaning the tiles, grout & seal them, do the wall tiles, and put a piece of worktop along the edge of the sink.

Completely failed to declutter the study, but did get some pressies bought, so tomorrow will be focussed on getting bits I need out of the garage, S&S downstairs where its not too bad, and proper clean upstairs. That way I should be finished and packed for Monday, and can go to my parents after my Leeds trip rather than having to come back and turn round again.

Ok, so today has been hectic to say the least. Not in a good way either.

OH managed to get an emergency dental appointment at our dentist. Anyway I left work to accompany him and met him there.

Two hours later we left. OH had his back tooth and roots cut out and a huge slice and six stitches in his gum.

The dentist said that we would have to go to hospital in order for my OH to have an op to remove some more root.

Luckily the assistant found the 'missing' piece of root and the x ray was clear.

When I politely asked if the dentist knew if we were due to fly off on holiday on wednesday our dentist went a bit quiet.

He is worried about the pressure of the flight and expressed reservations whether or not it would be wise for us to go.

I have no problem with this as obviously my main priority is my darling OH who was and still is in absolute agony. Our dentist has asked us to see him on tuesday and we'll find out then whether or not it's actually feasible and wise for us to travel. We were (are) supposed be setting off to london on tuesday. He said if there were any probs get straight to the doctor and/or hospital.

Obviously haven't said anything to the girls but it's a wait and see job.

My main thoughts are, if we can't go, !!!!!! will I do re food as we've been diligently eating through the cupboards and the freezer.:o

Anyway at least I'm not back at work until after 10th Jan 2009.:T
