Lil-me I have a lego city police station right here next to me PM me your address toute suite and I'll pop it in the post special delivery tomorrow morning - it should be with you on Monday then.

The checkout girl commented that they were flying out like hotcakes (were only actually five left by the time I got there) and that apparantly, the shop I got it from (Smyths in Salisbury) was the only shop in the whole of "the south" that had any left.

OH just brought home his reciept for his "christmas bonus" from his employer so he can collect it from M&S on 22nd.... a £40 gammon! Serves 14-17...... :shocked:

boddy thank you. Sounds like your family are putting you through it a bit at the moment, thinking of you all, pleased to hear that noone was badly injured and fingers crossed for your GS
skint_chick I didn't do the live on £4000 as I would be the same and stock up, which isn't the point really. If I did it I would want to start from scratch.
johanne you can either chop it smaller then cook or cook then freeze. Nigella's cola one is lovely!

Back from DS2s performance, DP still not in a great mood but gone to work now.

Kitchens almost finished apart from sorting through tins cupboard and fridge/freezer again so I can remove what I have from the list. Megan's rug now gone. Kids finished for hols and soooo much to do!

Lil-me - didn't mean to make you cry.... But it does look brilliant - I'm almost tempted to open it up and play with it myself!

But, off to straighten up the kitchen then invite nice neighbour over for a gin or two..

In the next HHC I -
cleaned the downstairs bathroom (a proper clean not just s&s like its had the previous 2 weeks)
cleaned the ensuite
swepted both floors ready to be mopped later
tea for the girls in the oven

i now need to empty the TD and put the next load from the WM in, then its ironing time for me should be about an hours worth and then it will be up to date again.

soappie- well done on finding the lego, makes me feel all nice inside the lengths our virtual friends will go for each other.

flower-hi very envious its wet wet wet here today.

joanne- I second nigellas cola ham - its dead easy to cook - freeze some of the ham afterwards to use later.

Okay tea is calling then its baking then ironing.

Kitchen is now tidy enough to cook tea - will finish the last bit whilst it is in the AGA. Then just he rest of the house to tackle.
