Most colleges in Scotland for reflexology are private run practices, I signed up for one last year, but at £1000, I couldn't justify that. The ones near to me however do have indian head massages, full body massage at the local colleges. I've thought about this a few times and am gonna give it a try in place of my workout one day to see how I get on.I don't have trouble sleeping.
I do have reflexology at the local college sometimes.
Its amazing, I sleep like a corpse after it.bam bam bammy Shore by The Revellers...do do de de do.0 -
That will be good if you remove the chocolate Cally. It's on that list, just at the bottom. Painkillers have caffiene in them, which will give you chronic pain.
Tea bags, again, everyone's different. A bit of trial and error . Let us know how your progress is going.Well, thats the last of the decaff tea bags and I can say, they didnt appear to make much of a difference to my sleep. We're using normal PG tips now and they dont taste as nice as the Tetley decaff ones so I might just stay on the decaff (although they cost more).
I'm doing the "100 days challenge" starting from 1st January and am giving up chocolate so we shall see if that makes a difference or not.bam bam bammy Shore by The Revellers...do do de de do.0 -
Hiya Firefox
I considered buying B12 tablets, or even a B complex tablet, but my nurse who administers the B12 injection monthly, was very much against it.
I take my calcium tablet first thing in the morning along with magnesium. Do you think trying the magnesium at night would make much difference ?
Why are you having B12 injections? Why are you taking calcium tablets? Calcium opposes the effect of magnesium in the body; this may be contributing to your problems.Declutterbug-in-progress.⭐️⭐️⭐️ ⭐️⭐️0 -
MEDICAL ADVICE
Hi, Martin’s asked me to post this: Sorry, giving or asking for medical advice is not permitted on this forum as it’s not what this site is about. While discussing medical insurance policies, cheaper ways to see consultants, cashback for alternative health treatments and how to get specific medication cheaper (legally) are all perfectly acceptable we ask you specifically not to discuss what to do in the event of certain medical problems (please see this rule on the Health Board). If you have any questions about this policy please email abuse@moneysavingexpert.com.

Has anyone tried Kalms before ? OH has been suggested them to help him calm down before his driving test and I've read they can aid natural sleep so wondering if I should give them a go as well.
Tried them and like most other sleep "remedies" and "cures" rather rubbish. Will be giving De Caff tea and Night Nurse a try next though.0 -
Has anyone seen the Memory Foam type pillows that Poundstrecther are selling, 2 for £15 ? I was thinking about getting a pack.
I could do with Night Nurse myself, sporting a lovely Rudolph impression at the moment with puffy eyes to match .... (darn colds)0 -

I got a cheap (£20 ish) memory foam pillow (actually I bought 4:eek: ) & it was a complete waste of money.
They felt like breeze blocks:eek:
I got a Tempur Delux now, I would recommend them to anyone. Expensive, but worth it.0 -
Sue thing!
Starts this Thursday.
I'll keep you informed. Not holding out much hope, but fatigue makes one despondent, doesn't it?!..0 -
I have a B12 deviancy. When tested, the results were ' 122 ', doctor said should be between 400-600. Nurse has put it back to every 6 weeks instead of every four, and i'd considered taking a supplement due to the signs and symptoms I experience approaching the third week after my injection.
( Regarding the supplements, calcium and magnesium that I chose to take after having it ok'd by my nurse and doctor )
I read it in a book, for sleep disorders and ran it by doctor. Also, because my bones crack and joints are always sore. I'm guilty for forgetting stuff, and noted all symptoms down the other weekend and as I was writing them, half of the symptoms I haven't told him about.
Have complied down all my trials and errors to give to the doctor though, and to also pass on to sleep specialist.
Thank you for your comment. I appreciate your opinion and input, and I know from your user name, that you can relate, and offer your opinion based on experience from your own trials and errors and anything additional you may have learned on an educational capacity from your fitness course, that opinion offered is always great, which I will obviously [strike]due to the nanny state we live in[/strike] , run it by my doctor. xWhy are you having B12 injections? I will do thank you. I will also chose my words better the next time. My answers were from a personal experience, my own personal trials and errors, and from some medical reference books and other resourceful books regarding the illness, please accept my apologies if my answers seemed to be asking for medical advice. That was not my intention, merely inputting my experiences from a 20 yrs illness and appreciating any input, suggestions and opinions from one sufferer to another. Which would always be run by my medical professional first before progressing with.MEDICAL ADVICE
