I use a mix of sweet chilli sauce (£2.40 for a litre from Chinese supermarkets), soy sauce (ditto) and Value honey.

I stumbled across a recipe for slow cooked ribs yesterday, they were put in a slow cooker for hours and then finished off in theoven.

They sounded wonderful so i (thought) i book marked the recipe and went and brought some pork ribs. Well I went to find the recipe this morning and I obviouly didnt book mark it and now i cant find it anywhere, so I was hoping you lovely people have a great ribs recipe that i can use?

Ideally something spicy and easy to cook, i would like to use my slow cooker if possible so the meat falls off the bone or close to.

    Many thanks

    Hi Pixie

This isn't totally OS as I do use a bottled sauce. What I do is cook all day in the slow cooker then put in oven dish cover in a jack daniels sauce which I also add tom sauce & brown suger to then bung in a hot oven for about 10 mins - they are delish.

I do sometimes make the sauce myself, there are so many variations, I tend to make it up as I go along, tom sauce, brown sugar, white wine vinegar , worcs sauce - if you google there will be hundreds of recipes.
