I just bought this mobile for £12.88 in my local CPW. Did anybody else here pay in cash? The guy selling this phone in my local CPW told me the £12.88 is for card transactions only, so I paid with my debit card. Had I paid in cash, the price would have been £23.88. Strange.0

I bought this phone. Thanks op. I now have the pin no. but can't seem to register it, the page won'tload. Does anyone else have this problem.? the rest of the Orange website seems to be working.
I just tried again and now they have technical problems.Anyone who lives within their means suffers from a lack of imagination:beer:

Out of the blue, after leaving the phone on for 72 hours, I get a text message with my 4 digit code!I'm a Forum Ambassador on the housing, mortgages & student money saving boards. Well now I am worried. I registered the phone with Orange who said there is no credit on it. I rang carphone warehouse, who said they put the credit on automatically within 48 hours - anyone vouch for this? Thanks0

Yes, I wouldn't worry about that0

I called Orange around 0110. Their SIM card activation number is 0800 0790006. Without delay, I got through to their call centre in India (I think) and after a 17 minute call of taking my details, Orange, within 10 minutes, sent my £10.46 credit PAYG. I will probably only use the credit for Orange Wednesdays.
I called their freephone number from my BT landline. After taking my name, address, the kind of package wanted (I opted for the Racoon one) and the number of my new SIM card, on their instructions; after ending the call, I put the sim card in my new Motorola W180 mobile. A few minutes after, Orange sent me two messages, the first one asking me to switch the mobile off for 10 seconds and then on again in able to activate the SIM card. Having done that, now I have £10.46. Beats me where the 46p comes from?0 -
