just watch tho, I set up an account called xbox360scambusters over xmas,
stupidly i put the contact email addy at my bleugh domain,

i had every auction wrecked on my main ID for weeks :-(

i contacted ebay / watchdog and even had a small interview with the daily express, nothing came out of it,

then one of the idiots i warned TWICE that he's just buying a box, bought a box and kicked up a crap about it once was delivered

i figured then, if people are too bloody stupid to realise, that's their tough luck

believe it or not, i actually had about 6 or 7 follow up emails from imbicielles giving me auction numbers and asking 'is this fake or not?'

don't bother, no-one will thank you for it, and i saved about 100 users bacon over christmas, i think only one said thanks, then promptly won a box later and blamed me as i didnt warn him

.....to spin it another way also, i've two motherboards up on ebay right now, I have no idea if they are working or not, one's at £30 right now, yet clearly in the auction in 20 point bright red BOLD text it says, SOLD AS SEEN, NOT WORKING

i'll 100% guarentee if a yank buys it, and 70% guarentee if anyone else buys it, and it doesnt work, i'll get crap for it

i'm really dissilusioned with the amount of (forgive me for using this accurate word) retards out there :-(

this is a CHEAP item being sold, let them get stung now for a few quid rather than a few hundred in future, sometimes you have to be cruel to be kind

the auction is NOT misleading, it advertises a box, and shows 5 pictures of one, how anyone can infer that they are getting a phone from that is beyond me

I agree that the clues are there for the wary, but the entry is still misleading (if it *is* just the box for sale).

    Firstly, it's under the category:
    Mobile & Home Phones > Mobile Phones > Motorola > V Series

    rather than "accessories" or whatever.

Secondly, look at the features and bundled items: Bluetooth, Colour Screen etc.

Also the bleedin postage cost  £7.99 for an empty box that weighs nothing :D

I'm watching it, i think that one bidder already is the seller, i think he's done that to encourage bidding :D

I also agree that some people out there are dumb, but that newbie who is bidding doesn't probably understand the description, if it's a genuine newbie

Oh right, Royal Mail Special Delivery. Nice touch! ;)
  • Sorry , I think this auction is way out of order .

Sure , it says brand new Motorola Pink Razr V3 Box down below but why put all the `phone info on auction if not to mislead . . . . ? I`ve never seen a bluetooth box with colour screen, customisable cover . . . .etc

    I`m off to report it
I`m now officially too old to die young
  • Description seems fairly clear: Motorola Raz V3 Pink Box
Seems a bit weird though, must be hoping to catch someone out.
Evidently. There are several points (mentioned on this thread) which are obviously misleading. The current high bidder is a newbie who probably hasn't read the listing carefully enough.

I have done all i can with these people. I have contacted all the ones i see bidding on it and told them it's just the BOX they are bidding for, and still they bid

Oh well can't please some
  • Im tempted to ask the seller a question:

What condition is the box in?
    Are the corners bashed?
    Any marks or scratches?
What shade of pink would you say it is?
Is there a mobile phone inside it?

But I dont want to bring my main account id into it, and my 'alternate' id has no feedback so i cant send questions.... :o
