Unfortunately not regarding the project as I have to vacate the workshops after half term to let other classes, enough about the logistics of D&T teaching though lol!
Those kind of long days do take it out of you. When I used to work in catering before I left uni, around xmas time we used to start work at 7am to set up, go right through till the bar shut at 3am, then start again at 7 the next morning! Friday, Sat, Sunday like that was a killer!
Those are about the only survey sites I'm on too, there are others that I joined before xmas but I haven't heard anything from them so kind of written them off really. How have you managed £9 from Valued Opinions I rarely get anything from them they must love you! Yeah problem with daily clicks is just that they are sooooooooo boooooooooorrrrrrrrrinnnnggggggggggg!
Well done on minimising your spending, after all the bday pressie was essential really and the Burger King just a little slip - just don't let me catch you do it again

The snow is coming down heavy again! We'll see what this lot does, nothing on the roads yet, could do with it staying like that.
I've been getting back into the daly clicks, done them for the last couple of days but the next 3 days I'm working 11-11 so I'm going to have to do them when I get home late on if I'm going to do them.
Yesterday I went to Sainsbury's with my mate for a breakfast, only spent £2 including a coffee.
Today I've filled my car up with petrol, that costing £29.11, stopped off at Tesco as well, got some cat food, a couple of essentials and stuff for work coming to £10.10. I also made a little PAD of £1.15 to my Capital One account. They added the monthly interest of £15.97 so I've a little more to pay.
All the food is bought for work and prepared so there are no excuses to be buying stuff at work. Will have drinks available to me as well so I'm planning not to spend any money for the next 3 days.Keep the Faith!0

Hey hows the long days going? I didn't do any clicks over the weekend but have done them tonight so should hopefully get back into that now.
We are forecast snow tonight, they said another 4 inches on the telly earlier but it has been raining so I don't reckon it'll happen. Be great to have a snow day though being as the inspectors are in tomorrow!
Hows the not spending going, I've completely fallen off the wagon with the NSD's at the minute but am aiming to get through the rest of the week without spending.

The long days were looooooooong! Just no chance updating this because I've been so tired. Off until early sunday morning now so will do as much as I can until then.
The no spend days didn't go according to plan, they could have been much worse. I got a meal deal from Boots for £3.49 yesterday, the day before it was £1.20 and monday £2! There's only so many cups of water I can have in a day!
Not much else to report. Maybe more tomorrow.Keep the Faith!0

I woke up this morning to the news that one of my car tyres was flat. Having got up and had a look it was noticibly down but not flat. Perhaps it had been let down?
It was alright to drive down to the nearest garage and pump up with air. The tyre was at a worrying 9 psi but it pumped up fine. When I've had another look at the tyre there is an inch tear in the side near the rim so it looks like I'll need a new tyre.
I've had a look on mytyres.co.uk via topcashback for a suitable replacement but I'm not sure what tyre to go for. They have Summer/Winter and All-Season Tyres so I guess I need the latter but is there anything else I should be looking out for?
Capital One have replied to my letter asking for my charges to be refunded. I had asked for £92 but in the letter they have offered me just £8. I'm not going to accept that so I'll be writing to them again.Keep the Faith!0

Oh no thats a bit poo. Yeah I'm guessing the all weather tyres are what you want but not massively sure if there is anything else, whether it has to match the others or anything. Do a bit of googling and see what it says?
And bloody capiatl one, omg thats so cheeky? £8 offered on £92? Don't let them get away with it!
Never mind about the NSD's, like you say it could have been worse. it's a shame you can't take your own rinks through does make things a bit difficult. Maybe you could decant squash into a smaller bottle to take through for those really skint days? Only works if you like squash though, prefer a bit of fizz myself!

I went to a local tyre fitter today so they could have a look at the tyre, they said that there aren't any problems with the tyre, the tear is in a place where it doesn't affect the tyre so it's safe to drive on and saving me some money.
I won't let Capital One get away with it, as soon as I get a printer that works I'll send the letter off, the one I bought a few weeks ago has decided it's not going to turn on anymore!
Done my clicks and surveys for the day, went to Tesco's earlier and spent £17.90 some bits we needed at home and some stuff for work as well for the next few days.
I'm doing the Manchester 10k Run in mid-May for The Samantha Jones Trust. I've been in the gym a bit more hoping to keep that up. Got plenty of time to get myself fit enough to do it. I did it last year in 1 hour 12 minutes but I was in agony for weeks after, hopefully this time the pain will be much less!Keep the Faith!0

Oh thats brilliant, at least it you won;t have to spend anything on it for the time being. I hate that sinking feeling that you get when you think something is gonna cost you a fortune!
Wow at the running, 10K? I get knackered doing that in the car lol. Best of luck with it, should be a motivation to get yourself down the gym at least!

I haven't updated this again for a bit, finding it hard with work to do anything else.
Had a bit of an accident at work yesterday, had a fight with a safe and a wall and ended up trapping my finger between the two! Lots of pain but didn't realise there was a lot of blood either to go with it.
It's not bad now just a bit black and blue and a bit sore but I'll live!
I'm back in again tonight doing some overtime at 5 til 10. Keep the money rolling in next month. Just been told there's not a lot of overtime next month so I need to get what I can.
In terms of spending I spent £41.20 on my O2 bill and £4.48 at boots on a meal and some ibuprofen.
Tuesday I spent £3.83 on food and £3.90 on a magazine. Monday I spent £3.80 on drinks and cold & flu sachets. Sunday I spent nothing because I forgot my wallet. I should do that more often!
Got my clubcard vouchers today through the post, £27 worth, should help me very much next month getting some stuff in. Also got £80 from my mum for what she owed me so I'm not doing too badly. Going to be comfortable now until payday, only a week away! :jKeep the Faith!0

I've stopped doing the daily clicks, just can't find the motivation to do them at the moment. I put £67 in my bank yesterday which will see me comfortable for the rest of the month. Got £80 from my mum and used £60 of that to put in my account and £20 on petrol.
I spent £1.60 on parking, would have only been 80p if I didn't end up locking my keys in the car! Very silly, had to get my grandad to fetch the spare set, luckily I was in town at the time. Anywhere else would have been a problem!
Today I was playing football against in Crewe in a cup game, drew 4-4 and ended up going to penalties, I scored one of the five but we lost 3-4 on pens, gutting really as we were 4-2 up with 10 minutes to go. Arrgghh! Cost me £3 to play and I got £6 back for petrol. My tyre was nearly flat again so I'm guessing there is something wrong with it, pumped up again with air but I'm going to get it looked at elsewhere when I've a day off. Should be ok. After all that hard work I treated myself to a deserved McDonalds, £5.50 and I've spent £3.29 on some groceries we needed.
Anyone know of places to get cheap toiletries etc? Trying not to spend supermarket prices on them.Keep the Faith!0
