What would you prefer banks to address you as?

I've been wondering by what name people would like banks to call them, i.e. by their first name, or as "Mr/Mrs/Miss xxxx". I am under 25, and would by far prefer it if they called me by my first name.

I have a tendency to address people by their first names, but I don't really like to be called my first name when I'm being served - anywhere, bank or not. When I last flew with BA, they were calling me by my first name - which annoyed the hell out of me, because I didn't feel it was appropriate for the level of service they should have been offering. What would William Shatner do?0 -
"Miss ......."
I'm 26.
I detest it when companies use my first name!

I always get "Mr Lastname", which I'm happy about. Wouldn't like my first name being used to be honest.0

When I go to the Halifax (in branch or over the phone) I am always addressed as Mr Matthews. I like it.0

If people use my first name they always say Oliver, I hate it, my name is Olly! Usually if its emailing then usually people catch on as I put "Thanks, Olly" or whatever, and they then say "Hi Olly" rather than Oliver.
Generally banks and stuff I don't give a poo!0 -

I'm 25 and if I'm just going in to cash a cheque or something over the counter I'm happy not to be referred to by name at all so long as the service isn't rude. It is quite possible to get by using just friendly terms ranging from Sir right down to pal/mate depending on how well acquainted you are and the context. If it's something more like opening an account/credit card/mortgage or sorting out a problem then I'd go for Mr 'surname'.
Personally I can't stand people using my first name in a professional setting when I've not introduced myself that way, strangers shouldn't be and friends usually use a nickname. I don't know if it's just me, but I find it quite disrespectful to use someone's first name if they're not able to do the same in return.0 -
Staff at my bank call me by my first name. I sometimes get calls from my local branch and they call me by my first name over the phone too. I like it. I don't live in a big town so it's nice and personal.0

First name. It's too much hard work for them to get the rest right!
