What time do you have Christmas Dinner?

I was just wondering what time of day you all have Christmas dinner/lunch? Obviously it will depend on situation, whether you travel/have young or old kids/ have a sperate lunch and dinner but I am curious about people's reasons for the time of day you eat.
Personally I would do it about 4pm, do not want to start cooking at 6am! OH would prefer even later! Last year we ate at around 3pm with OH's family but they would have preferred more like 1pm.
I would want to have drinks and cheese and biscuits in the evening though so maybe, especially as we have young kids and I will be precooking some stuff, I should do dinner earlier.
Anyway, would love to know what everyone else does and why, humour me? Please? lol

About 3pm for me then relax, a few drinks at night with the feet up and let the kids play with their new toys.

    And then do it.

    good call!
  • Well, you lot eat late. I love Christmas:j:j:j:j and I seem to wake my kids up around four in the morning "creeping!!!!;):D" to the loo.
Breakfast is usually at 5am so Christmas lunch usually on the table between 11.30-12 as they are starving by then!
They usually start asking around 11 am.
By the way, they are 13, 15 and 19 years old!!!!
My Mam and Dad stay over on Christmas Eve so if I oversleep( not much chance of that!) my Mam gives me a knock.
    It's a family thing.
    Merry Christmas everyone.

We tend to eat about 1ish, I have 2 boys 8 and 5 and are starving by then, even though they have normally eaten chocolate all morning.

    Happy Christmas everyone.
