Sometimes I swear he has his finger on some kind of discharge gland because when he has finished his fiddling....I'm sorry - finish that sentence in your own head ladies :o:o:o
LOL i sometimes have to wear panty liners on some days :o

hi i am 35 weeks and baby is in the breach position, and i have a very small bump.
got to go for a scan next friday to check growth and to see if the hospital can do i evc, has anyone on here had one, its where they try and turn your baby to the proper postion, its worrying me a bit as its suppose to be uncomfortable, have looked on the internet and got info but just wandered what they are like !!
I'm afraid as usual with these things whereever you see "uncomfortable" read "a pain like nothing you've felt before":o
My friend had it done and said if when she had her 2nd it was breach she would rather go for elective c-section :( sorry for not comforting you but I feel its best to expect lots of pain and discomfort so you can be prepared to face it rather than being shocked by it xx

Just called the doc who put me onto NHS direct. They say to get checked out today but I can do my meeting first - it's not a desperate emergency. Thats all I wanted to know cos I feel kind of fine and would not think twice if it wasn't for the little (very tiny)one!

Thanks for making me call - I've never called the doc before!!!

Jam - pls go see the Dr. It'll make us feel better :D

MFD - OK, I'll talk to you again :D:D:D

    Happy birthday skintchick

AM - I occassionally feel baby moving in that area, but can't say I've had MFD's experience of having discharge......

I'm eating an apple and telling baby how much more it would enjoy watching The wright stuff from outside mummy's tummy - although every time someone asks when I'm due, they all react with shock when I tell them - apparently my bump is very small (yet I measure spot on at the MW?) Some people huh?!

Af - was it you talking about hospital bags? I've gathered most stuff together but haven't packed one yet - this weekend I'll do it :D although hubby has been briefed (we'll only need it if HB goes wrong). Sticking to absolute min of stuff as I figure hubby can get supplies if they are needed.

    Twas me :D:D

I am TRYING to get myself to buy stuff for mine now. People have been asking me if i have got it back ready to go 'just in case'. I'm 33 weeks today!!!!!!

I have dark towels and that's about it :D

I think I am struggling with what to pack also becuase of the 'unknown'. If I have bubs in the morning and all goes well, it's likely isn't it that i will be home by that night? If things dont go well then i could be in there longer. I am a planner, but find it hard when there are variables in my planning equation :rotfl:

Booked to see the nurse practitioner (SP) at 4.40 after work. Bet it'll have all gone by then but I'll still see what she says as we're away this weekend and don't want to be worrying if it comes back.

Will let you know what she says.

    Thanks again for being there!!!

    Morning all.

I can't remember who, but someone asked about the Johnsons gift box yesterday?!?

On the back cover of Febs Prima Baby magazine, there's as advert for the Asda Baby & Toddler event (27/01-15/02) - and as well as all the other stuff previously listed, its got the Johnson's Essentials Gift Box for £10.

Not sure if its the same one I got in September, the box looks more white than lilac, but it contains 200ml bubble bath, 100ml baby oil, pack of wipes, 300ml talc, 200ml baby lotion and 100 cotton buds.

Also, the box of 6 packs of johnsons wipes is included, for £5.

And about kicking in the fufi - mine sometimes feels like i'm getting poked in the b u m - right at the top - very strange sensation  .

MIL saw a psycic last night (she's obsessed with them). Psycic told her baby is a girl (no-one knows apart from us), and it will be here on 25th or 27th Jan. She didn't give us any idea on names though.

OH is convinced its coming at 3.30pm on Sunday 25th, just as the Liverpool/Everton game kicks off - that would be quite funny :rotfl: :rotfl: .

    AF I would pack ur bag as if you'll be staying for the night plus day following birth. Once you've settled down after the birth you'll soon spot anything you've missed and get someone to bring it in for you, oh and make sure you send any 'dirty' thing home with OH otherwise you'll look like a pack horse leaving hosp :D when I left hosp I had;
    Baby in carseat
    small suitcase
2x big bounty bags (one u get in labour, one when bubs has arrived)
a couple of carrier bags with presents, cards, drinks, food

I looked like Ijust come from a shopping weekend away!

3onitsway - thank you thank you thank you. i was one of the people talking about the Johnson box. I will be getting this. Might be or might not be worth it but it one thing that has been in mind to get. SIL said she would do 'the box', but just in case she can't for someone reason then i will have one.

also, can anyone help. think i am going mad. i am looking at a crib on kiddicare. fair enough, it doesn't come with the mattress, says the size is 84 x 43 but they do not appear to sell them on their website :confused: off to check ebay to see if there are any brand new mattresses in this size. any other suggestions other than picking a different crib???
