MFD: I almost don't want to tell you that 75th centile is a little on the large side *runs ducks n hides*
Its all to do with "the normal curve" basically most people fall between something like 40th and 60th percentile. If you were on the 50th you would be absolutely average. Chris was on the 9th for weight until he was about 18 mths coz he's a lil titch but now he's going steady on the 25th :j this pic may bring a distant maths lesson flooding back http://www.comfsm.fm/~dleeling/statistics/normal_curve.gif
I wouldn't bother looking on wiki unless your a maths geek like moi coz it explains it in proper miffing maths language

Tine: i have no comment coz I knew the answer too :D

Elle: I did a bit of research and decided that the risk seemed to be if the oil was applied to the skin/swallowed but best to look into it yourself and make the decision ;) the list of herbs to avoid is on babycentre if you want to look, maybe there is something like pure menthol thats safe

    Welcome mookie :)
Bad back... yes mine is !!!!!!ed! I have always had a dodgey back and not helped by trying to combine flying and horseriding lessons a little while before falling pregnant :) I do find if it it gets bad then paracetamol, a warm (not hot!) bath and a gentle rub from DH helps. I sleep with a squishy cushion between my legs and tend to sleep in a position very close to a recovery position anyway... that does tend to help. Make sure you sit correctly at work and stuff too and don't stand too long.

Hi again.. I read everything to catch up, then fell asleep! Have just woken up now. Want OH to hurry up and get home so he can make me some tea :(

Thanks for info on Olbas Oil. It's not me who needs it - OH has a cold - but I was trying to discourage him from scattering it on all of the soft furnishings as it gives me a headache if I smell too much of it. That said, he's left a suitcase of photos from his grandad's house on the other sofa - his grandad smoked heavily and I'm getting a headache from the smell coming off it. It's too heavy for me to move.. again, hope OH comes home soon! :(
  • I have £50+ worth of Boots points!. I'm so excited! :rotfl:. We bought Poppy's new pushcahir and lots of stuff for new baby with the extra online points codes....Bootsing can become very addictive :p:D.

Wonder if they sell pineapples?! :rotfl:

Going to stock up and eat them until I'm sick tomorrow! ;). Definately going to try everything.....but will leave s@x until a last resort.....just too much of an effort with heffa-bump!!.

I logged in - added 10, used the code and magic! 10 packs for £10 + £2.95 delivery :) result!!!! well chuffed now!
Thanks guys! Even Hubby was happy! :)

Sorry to hear about your nan, but glad you got back to Denmark to say goodbye.

I've just registered at boots and typed the huggies code (5497817) into the search box but it doesn't bring any products up. Does anybody know if that means they're out of stock again?

Saying that, at 11 weeks, it probably is a bit early to start buying things . Not sure what hubby would say either.

Mooki: i'm afraid I've not been bad enough to need help but you should be able to get a fast tracked app with physio if you call MW and provided your usually allowed to take them cocodamol is allowed for pain in preg if paracetamol isn't helping, I know some of the ladies on here are suffering with SPD and i think they are using bump bands with success
