AF - even if you exclusively breastfeed then sterilisers are useful for dummies and teething toys etc (although you prob won't need an electric one lol)

see why didn't i think of that??????

i am feeling very niave (to be read as stupid) all of a sudden today :(

I really need to go pram browsing! Had my heart set on the SX Freeway Linear.. need to reassure myself! I'm 5ft 7 and OH is only an inch taller so probably don't need to worry about the height thing.

I had a microwave sterilizer last time, was ever so handy really... Borrowing an electric one this time... Just picked up our baby record book from Waterstones... Got this one... Although I wish I hadn't just looked this up because it cost me full price direct from the shop!

And was it searching who asked? I'm 23 weeks too... And also put 1st on... not surprising since I ae 3 chocolate eclairs yesterday :p
A very proud Mummy to 3 beautiful girls... I do pity my husband though, he's the one to suffer the hormones...
Krystal is so smart and funny and wonderful I am struck dumb in awe in her presence.

Hey guys. Re clothes for bubba....my sis had a load of 0-3 months stuff with her at the hospital and her son was only 5lb something and everything was too big, so I had to run around town like a headless chicken buying some earlyborn stuff, as her OH didn't want to leave my sis. So maybe buy just a couple of earlyborn outfits just in case. She was 2 weeks late as well!

AF - we aren't bothering with a steraliser just yet. We are planning to try BF first and teething toys etc won't happen immediately so will get one when we feel we need it. If I bought everything 'just in case' then we wouldn't have anything but baby things and no money left!

  • Ooo - and another tip on my list is to buy some sterilising bags 'just in case' for when you are visiting/travelling etc. I got some reduced in tescos before christmas.

this was quoted to me by my mum as a top tip as well. I was three weeks late and still a small baby at 6lbs :D

I've bought a couple babygrows in early baby, newborn and 0-3 months.

Unless Bubba does come VERY soon there is no chance he is going to be a little baby - I am getting seriously concerned about my ability to touch my foof by the time I go into labour :o :rotfl:
