they made something on the weekend which i was really impressed with and thought 'must remember that' for when bubs is older. yeah right, like i stand a chancethat was earlier, Chris has the TV until 10:30 then it's mummy's turn until 2pm when he gets it back (if we are in all day obv)
I'd say about 80% of the stuff he makes is awfulbut there is the odd good thing - not that I can remember either tho!

bet your dying to open it Sami! was thinking about you and SB today when i took my phil and teds out! i wanted Charlie to get use to it before buba here as i was worried he wouldnt be happy with new pram and baby lol! he loves sitting in it and i love pushing it:D
OMG OH just phoned to say that the hosp have sent his mum home as they needed the bed she was meant to be in for at least 3/4 nights! they only operated yest aft and she was home by this morning??What's for you won't go past you0 -
a spoonful of sugar not that it doesnt have enough already lol!!!
i put vests under everything keeps nappy in place and keeps baby cosy
AM i would go away your not that far away and really what difference would it make?? we have taken ours away when they were tiny and they were non the wiser!
we are planning on going away when bubs is here, well me OH and baby think we may head to aviemore for a few days and just have time to chill:D
I think it will be nice for us to go away as a proper little family, we have been together for a year on sunday baring the 2 months we split up, although we still saw or spoke to eachother everyday.
so we just count it as the year.
We have had a really rocky time of it, on both our parts but now everything seems to be falling into place, even people around us have said how much happier we seem together, so fingers crossed it will stay this way.
I'm just happy that he's not deserted me, last time I done it all on me jack from about 20 weeks.:j Baby boy Number 2, arrived 12th April 2009!:j0 -

i think it is brilliant how things are going for the two of you. like you say, it would be lovely for you all to go away as a little family and have some bonding time.
will keep my fingers crossed for you OH agrees0 -

:rotfl: :rotfl: the other day he said to colour an A4 sheet of paper in sections of different colours, like a sqaure of yellow, then red, then pink or carrying on with whatever colours.
you then mixed a little bit of dish liquid into some black paint to make it more gooey. you then painted over the coloured A4 sheet of paper with the black paint.
when it was dry, you used the end of a plastic knife or paint brush and scored a picture into the black paint. He drew a wizard with stars around him.
the effect was the mixed colours come through were you have scored into the paint and it looked sparkly.0 -

Well my MIL thought that I would be fine to go to france 4-6wks after bump shall be arriving  (IMHO) I said I would be ok to go away at that point but only to wales or the lakes (both of which are 1 or 2 hrs drive from home) so if you feel happy then do it, provided baby is "normal/healthy" there's no reason not to
OMG! Sami, do we have the same MIL??!!
Mine asked if we would be visiting them in France this year with the baby (they live there April-September) It is a 12-18 hour journey each way, depending on whether we go by seacat or overnight ferry. That would be my idea of a hellish journey (It is bad enough with just me and dh, without a newborn baby and a hyperactive dog in tow!)
I have been feeling rather sorry for myself recently. I was up all saturday night with terrible toothache, with nothing but paracetemol to take the pain away and that didn't even touch the pain.:(
Hubby was so worried about me that he found some emergency numbers to ring and I got an appointment with the NHS Walk in centre. (My own dentist had apparently left our local practice rather suddenly after some kind of 'investigation' . So I am not actually registered with a dentist anymore.)
Anyway, they said I had an root infection and needed to have the tooth out - I couldn't have an xray obviously, so they had to do the extraction 'blind' without knowing that the roots were crossed. I have a bit a phobia of dentists and I hadn't been able to eat anything that morning - so I nearly passed out and was shaking so much - the dentists made me drink glucose as they were worried about me.
But now the tooth is out *YAY!*, although my jaw feels like I have done 10 rounds with Mike Tyson - I am on the mend and no more toothache!

i must admit, i did wonder about jeans etc for a baby over vests etc. i did see a twin pack of jogging bottoms on the adams kids site in a lemony colour and thought ahhhh! thats what i need..
i also admit to buying alot (well not ALOT) of baby clothes that are 0-3 and none newborn at all!!! i think i might buy a couple of bits, im sure everyone who visits etc will bring newborn stuff, being the cutest!
as for food, i tend to be eating the same things...
before work... hot cross bun or one piece of bread and butter
for breakfast.. cereal or bagel, or toast
mid morning snacks... ginger biscuits, yogurts, fruit, a muffin, packet of crisps
lunches... jacket potato, uncle ben rissotto pack er.... beans on toast with mushrooms
dinners... this is were is all goes horribly wrong... i have had in the last week, a curry, papa johns and fish and chips!!! although i cant eat my usual amount and because ive been faaar too tired to cook. since then, ive had spanish chicken and rice, sausage and mash, fish finger sandwiches or... fajita wraps.
last thing at night... another piece of bread and butter if need be
in the 10 weeks ive been preggers, ive put on about... 5 pounds or so? i haddnt actually weighed in all that time till yesterday and actually had my eyes shut, thinking it was going to be more like a stone because of the take aways... but then my portions have been smaller and ive gone off chocolate. i just know the last trimester will make up for all this!!
OH and by the way, im not sure who it was on here but i decided to see if my tesco did "roo" clothing for babies last night. and i found it! oh. my. god. if it werent for the fact i am skint till pay day next week, i would of bought one of each!!! OH let me buy a 2 pound bib to be getting on with, with roos face on.. so thanks to you!!! i shall def be going back for more soon! maybe ill buy some newborn bits in it after all heeheehee!!
