    I'm sorry, I need a moan...

I've been sick after every quarter of a glass of squash I've drunk this morning :( I'm getting headache, presumably from dehydration, and my back and tummy muscles are aching.

Any suggestions, anyone? It's only the second day and I'm 14+2 today so hopefully it'll go soon so I don't want to phone the midwife. What can I eat that I might keep in? What about rich tea biscuits and tea? Don't really want the tea (it's not good second time around!) but don't want dry biscuits either.

    *sulk* :(

... but do like a toasted ham and cheese sandwich.

Do/Could you have a toaster at work AF? You could get toaster bags, then make your own sandwiches in the morning and take them in to toast at work.

biological breastfeeding, now that's how i imagined it SHOULD be :D:D

i've read the purple nhs book on the feeding section and keep worrying that i am going to get bubs in all sorts of wrong positions trying to get him to latch on properly.

me being niave, i always thought bubs would find their way to your nipple and in a way that was right for them

Moan away elle, we all do it (me in droves) :D

I know nothing special, but what about sipping at some water so you might get some fluid in you and also keep it there?

sorry not much help becuase i was extremely lucky and haven't thrown up much.

is dry toast any good or lightly buttered?

i have been saying for ages about buying a toaster for work becuase i am toast mad. the only thing is some of my colleagues aren't the cleanest of people kitchen wise (struggle to get them to wash their own cup or wipe up their mess or clean the microwave) so it has put me off.

might think about it again though for the last 6 weeks i am here
  • elle i think it was mrs t who had to go to hospital for being too dehydrated, ring the midwife...best to be safe.

Could you manage a bit of bread dipped into soup??

Good luck with all that, DS has just been signed off from his SALT, but now has to see a child development doctor about his behaviour at school and lack of attention, got that appt tommorrow :o

Thanks AM - hope your appt goes ok today. I am in with his teacher on Friday to discuss Dyslexia assessment. I need to sign some forms.

I still feel so down lately, I am really trying to lift my mood but nothing seems to be working.....I also can't bear for dh to be near me, although I'm also trying not to let that show either:rolleyes:.

On the food issue, I have been eating fairly healthily, although since losing weight I have consciously eaten quite a bit of carp, in fact I have just scoffed 2 jam and cream doughnuts and a bag of crisps:o I feel utterly sick now. I am going to go now and prepare a beef (something) in the slow cooker for tonights dinner.

Big welcome to dj and Glam - congratulations on your pregnancies:beer:
