yey SB! :j I'm soo excited about it coming now :T also hubby loves all things camo so we have decided that once it arrives we're sticking the SX 3d on ebay and opening the box _party_

Elle I agree with MFD don't judge the pram until you've had a look at a few in the flesh

Krystal: thanks for the backwards complement :p can I ask your opinion on nursing chairs? our sofa & chair are rather tired IYKWIM and we don't know if it would be best to get a chair like this http://www.kiddicare.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/productdisplayA_857_10751_-1__29842_10001_
or just get a new suite  (I'm basing it on the fact I couldn't seam to get comfy whilst feeding chris)

What about the girl from Gimme Gimme Gimme? You'd need an orange wig and tarty clothes.

Or just wear a nice long dress and say you're an opera singer! They are mostly fat!

:rotfl:for the opera singer you'd need to put ur hair in plaits and wear a viking helmet too? ....no? (can you tell I've never been to the opera?)

You're better off sitting in a chair without arms when you first start feeding, there is a tendency to lean on them so you're at a funny angle or baby might kick their legs off them and change position... One thing we recommend if the sofa isn't the best for feeding is sitting on the floor in front of the sofa to make you a little more upright... Or you could investigate biological nurturing... Reclined and relaxed ist the position there...

I just feel like it's too early to be actually shopping.. like actually touching things in shops :o

I'm only 14wks today - I know it feels like I've been here a lot longer than that! :p Mind you, I still keep thinking "what if it isn't real?" despite all the symptoms, scans and hearing the heartbeat..

Sami (and everyone else), the msg at the top of the page about the maintenance has changed to say today's date so maybe they do mean it this time!

Gah, so annoyed!!! The only TV program I actually want to watch is dancing on ice and hubby has been playing his xbox since 6:30 and I've missed it!! Going to have to catch up tomorrow now and I'll probably find out who gets voted off by accident... :(

    Hi all
Just wanted to check you have all picked up your sainsburys mum and baby bundle. You have to buy a pack of huggies newborn to get it but if you get the huggies sample pack there is a voucher in there for £2.00 of a pack. So you get your nappies and the gift box(worth 9.99) for £1.75. I picked mine up today and its really lovely. Linky: http://www.bounty.com/Good_Luckmum/Sainsburys.aspx

    Huggies sample: http://www.easyanswer.net/bounty/huggies/newborn/default.asp

My mum and I did some shopping for beanie at the weekend (well I shopped, she paid!). Got some really cute little jeans and sleepsuits etc. I have started to clear out the spare room now too although hardly made a dent in it.

I have to visit a paedophile client in prison tomorrow. As a family/child care solicitor its all part of the job but I have told work now that I will not be visiting prison after the end of this month. Its not safe and some prisons wont even let you in if your pregnant as paedophiles are known to attack pregnant women. Feeling a bit panicked about tomorrow though. I am so protective over this little bump.

Hate that the weekend has to come to an end so soon!

Hi, just added me in the list! Baby boy due February 17th, though DD2 was 3 weeks late, DD1 was late too so not expecting this one to be anywhere near "on time"!

Am, what, 35+5 now I reckon, having a home birth hopefully, DD2 was a planned HB but ended up choosing induction at 43 weeks as she wasn't volunteering to come out by herself! So keeping fingers crossed this one decides he's coming out!

Have a scan booked this week to check baby's positioning and that everything is okay for HB, then the home visit from the midwife next week.

Keep meaning to make a list of any baby stuff we still need to get. I keep worrying we haven't got enough clothes, like sleepsuits, bodysuits and socks, little bits like that. Luckily have a lot of baby stuff anyway from both DDs so don't need anything really big, though am deffo going to invest in a new sling or two!

    Hello to all anyways!

Me too Elle. I'm 14 weeks tomorrow and it still doesn;t really feel real (apart from nearly fainting and throwing up in an art gallery this afternoon!!!).

Jo_R - can you remove the quote from your post otherwise you'll more than likely get missed off when someone searches for it :)

Mooki - I'd never heard of "them" attacking pregger's why do they do that? (hmm as if we'll ever understand why they do things!)
I can't seem to get the voucher for sainsbury's  I thought it was coz I'd printed it already and didn't pick it up, but hubby tried and it just kept saying there was a problem

Oh Elle I love looking at prams, I've never stopped snooping at them ever since I found out I was having chris :o I love "window" shopping for anything and everything
