I'm so uncomfortable at the moment. Looking forward to Midwife on Thursday, I need reassurance. I seem to be absolutely gigantic, and I can feel my uterus up really, really high. I'm scared this is going to be a huge baby. I know fat women can have fat babies, but if I'm not overeating and I'm not gaining huge amounts of weight, am I very much at risk?

  • Have midwifes tomorrow to check blood pressure again - am pretty sure it will be back to normal as that is what normally happens. Am I right is saying that I should be due blood tests at 28 weeks as will be 27 weeks tomorrow and they havent mentioned anything yet?

Sami, did you do any pelvic floors after Chris? My MW says I need to do them every day for the rest of my life!. I did start off well after having Poppy but then sort of forgot :o. I have a plan to do them each day from now on whilst washing up! :D.
    xx

Nope not one single squeeze of them :o at all ever! Most deff paying for it now, if I don't cross my legs to sneeze I will dribble

MFD: I recommend Tena ladies, get the least absorbent ones to start I think they're called mini magic.

Anyone else watching ITV claire sweeny thing just so they can laugh at her getting fat:p I'm sitting here feeling smug that I do eat what I want when I want and havent put on any weight since Chris was about 3mths - yey me:D

Well I finally succumbed and purchased the first real baby item (not counting the moses basket stand as it was £10 and a rocking on that rocks the way I want it to and it was in the sale....)... I have bought a little 4 piece clothes set from Tesco :D
It's soooooo cute with Roo on it - there is 2 different pictures of Roo and both look like I can photocopy them and then blow them up to use as stencils in the nursery! So I sneaked it past DH as a decorating necessity rather than nesting :rotfl:

As for pelvic floor then mum said that after me she had no problems and she put it down to horse riding both before, during and after - no exercise like it! with my brother she'd long given up and it took her a while longer to get back to normal. But her advice was to try and go back to riding as soon as I felt able after giving birth - nothing extravagant - just simple hacking in walk was what she did...
Will try to remember to do my exercises anyway though... but I do forget... :)

Tine i love the Roo stuff in tesco! Chris had the cutest little dungees with roo on, my sis got them and I liked them so much I went and got them in nxt size too :rotfl:

I'm desperate to get stuff for bump but I'm scared to get anything long sleeved in case we have an actually hot summer  and summer stuff not out yet, plus only need a few newborn bits that are unisex as everyone will be buying girly stuff if its a she and we have most stuff if its a he.
I did think tho if its like chris and a titch then Chris's stuff will all be the wrong season as he was a winter baby, OMG he's 2 in 7 days! don't know where time went!

"Not for use during pregnancy" Aww :(

I'm a bit rubbish at remembering to do them. I need to see 'results', and if I don't, I just lose interest and forget!

Edit - isn't it a bit silly to have a not for pregnancy use thing in the Maternity section?! Edit again, the other one in that section says that too!
