Might have to ask OH to pick me something up from town tomorrow (while he's attempting his xmas shopping). I know why I'm getting it - it's napping while sat upright with my mouth open :( (oh yes, I am such an attractive sight!)

elle - I seem to be napping everywhere lately - am soooo tired I just seem to drop off wherever I am!

The sprung mattress we bought has a waterproof side as well, so we've been really pleased with it.

Sorry not been on here for ages, just been catching up on your posts , am glad u all seem well.
Can't believe how near the top of the list I am now, I am so nervous, had really strong braxton hicks for the past week now so just want them to turn into the real deal, lol!
I only finished work last week for my maternity leave and even then i was forced to due to odema and high blood pressure .

Don't know if I'm allowed to ask this, but.. What can I take for trapped wind and bloatedness? Anything chewy and fruity hopefully!
The chewy ones are generally not on the "allowed list" the one that deffo are are the fruit chalky renies and tums (I prefer tums personally) or good old gaviscon/own brand alternative (I think the tesco own brand one tastes best) gaviscon is available free on 'script and some docs will prescribe tums but not many:rolleyes:
If your constipated then fixing that will help with the bloating so lots of fruit n veg and you are allowed to take the bog standard senna "occasionally" according to the info I have.

Do I have to speak to the pharmacist myself, or will they sell whatever to OH if he answers the questions? (nothing else exciting to tell other than being 10wks preg). Don't think I've ever been to ask a pharmacist's advice before!

I'm not avin a go caz just best to let others break the rules out of choice ;) I've just started on the gaviscon before bed :j well tesco brand coz I keep forgetting to pick up my script  and yes the texture is just plain wrong!
Elle - gaviscon is best described as aniseed flavoured sperm mmmm:rotfl:

ETA: OH will be fine he just needs to either read the packs himself as they all do say suitable or not suitable for preg ;) if he wants to ask he just needs to say "excuse me can you show me which indigestion tablets my pregnant lady can have?" - unless your on meds for something else?

Hmm.. so I've heard - I'm going to avoid it at costs! Don't think I've ever had heartburn before so I'm not sure I'll recognise it if I get it.. will be back to ask that question at the time! ;)

Nowt exciting, only Thyroxine (my thyroid doesn't make it naturally so I have to take it in tab form). Thanks :) I've looked at Fruity Rennies on Boots.com and it says "for indigestion in pregnancy" then "consult pharmacist if pregnant"
