Hmm.. so I've heard - I'm going to avoid it at costs! Don't think I've ever had heartburn before so I'm not sure I'll recognise it if I get it.. will be back to ask that question at the time! ;)
Trust me you'll know when you get it! I think best way I can describe is like if you drink neat whiskey you get that sortof tingle as it hits your troat, like that but fills your stomach and travels up towards your mouth and doesn't go within seconds like the whiskey feeling

Nowt exciting, only Thyroxine (my thyroid doesn't make it naturally so I have to take it in tab form). Thanks :) I've looked at Fruity Rennies on Boots.com and it says "for indigestion in pregnancy" then "consult pharmacist if pregnant"
best to mention that to pharmacist as tums etc can affect absorption of some meds

He has a list for that.. Hmm, come to think of it, he'd best not give THAT note to the pharmacist! ;)

He's on a £50 limit, plus a £10 stocking. I've asked for a diary (collins organiser, "my whole life in a book" type!) which is the main thing - I thought it might be handy for when baby brain kicks in good and proper! - plus little bits like PJs, DVDs, the pampering toiletries I like.

How about yours? (and everyone elses :D)

I got hubby a watch and cufflinks with goldsmiths tesco clubcard voucher the total was £235 but I only paid £25 in real money :j and the idea got me a mention in martin's mailout! :j

I got him a few novelty bits today - wind up torch, coin sorter jar, kiddy film books and chocolate money from M&S which actually had rectangles of choc in too in different coloured foil to look like paper money! Not quite sure what else to get him.. he needs to give me some ideas. Oh, ordered him a DVD tonight too!

I'm just about to wrap my sister and sister-in-law's present. They're going away for Christmas so I've made them a bit of a pamper hamper with foodie goodies too. There are about 25 presents in there and they are complete big kids so I have to wrap each one individually to give them lots of things to open! I've even got to make them a key so they know who's is who's and what's to share involving three types of wrapping paper *sigh* Wish me luck..

that sound like me elle! for my 21st my sister bought me 21 individually wrapped gifts :A
we have an xmas pre-nupp tho coz we never really want anything and just end up giving each other a cd or dvd so better for her to put the money in her house deposit savings and me to spend it on my babies :D
The best bit for me is my mum always does the whole family a stocking each and there is always choc money, shiny pennies and a clementine in it :j

Me n sis plus OH's are being a bit radical this year coz we're thinking of giving our mum n dad a 2nd hand prezzie its an mp3 player but the best we can afford is only 2gb and MIL has jus replaced her 20gb sony walkman so we're prob gonna give that to mum n dad, we have the original (slightly dog eared) box etc but just hoping they don't think we're poo daughters for not giving a brand new prezzie:undecided

    Hi ladies!
I've just spent the last half hour catching up with about 10 pages! I haven't been online since Thurs night, as went out last night and have been out all day today.
My good news is that we had our scan today and everything is OK :D
I am so pleased :D:D:D (can you tell? :o).
As soon as the picture came on the screen, baby was extremely active and punching his/her arms (well, limb buds) in the air. DH has now decided it is definitely a boy and that as soon as he is old enough, he will be going to boxing lessons .
Am now wrapped up on the sofa watching X-Factor.
