My hubby is not interested in looking at anything really but he reserves the right to say no to things he doesn't like... his latest foible is that he doesn't like any of the nursery 'characters' that have funny eyes...such as this:

Does everyone elses hubby let them do the choosing or do they want to be involved too?
I just asked OH, and he wants to be involved, but will pretty much just trust my judgement.
I wonder if he is picking out things like that because he doesn't have any experience with baby things?
OH has no idea what is a good cot/pram etc, so the only think he feels able to have an opinion on is what it looks like.Stay-at-home, attached Mummy to a 23lb 10oz, 11 month old baby boy.0 -

Hmmm, scrap that idea then! What is it about the 'eyes' he doesn't like? Before I clicked on the link, I was expecting something very creepy!Stay-at-home, attached Mummy to a 23lb 10oz, 11 month old baby boy.0 -
MFD: all my hubby is interested in is how much it costs
I've picked everything, If I do show him something he just goes "yeah what ever you like"
Only thing he did care about was that the pram n buggy weren't "girly" I wanted unisex anyway as knew we would be using it for 2nd child (the girly comment was obv before we knew we were expecting a boy!)0 -

DH is very beaky and likes to be involved in everything. The hours we spent in JL trying out prams!. Nearly put the SA on our Christmas card list :rotfl:.
He loves choosing clothes for Poppy and couldn't wait for the day we took her to Clark's for her first shoes!.
But mostly its my say that goes as I order and then tell him what we 'are' getting.
PS: that set is so cute!!!

It's something to do with it having 1 odd eye
there have been a few that he has objected to :rotfl:
We both really liked the Once Upon a Time range in Mamas and Papas but it is so ridiculously expensive that I cannot justify it...trying to find something else is a nightmare though.
I really liked that set too but I have been overruled!please listen to MFD - she is a wise womanProud Mummy to the gorgeous Benjamin John born 14 March 2009, 8lbs 14ozA new little seedling on the way, due 30 September 20120 -

to be honest you really don't need all his character stuff (possibly not what you want to hear but its true) you prob won't use most of it and it's silly expensive0 -
Well something my mum said made me look up the holiday gift MIL brought back for Chris its a steiff teddy this one http://www.amazon.co.uk/Steiff-Teddy-Bear-Suitcase-111471/dp/B000EEQ3TY
it cost about £30 on the sites I found it on  I almost don't want him to play with it now but he loves it and looks so cute carrying the suitcase around!0
