  • I hate the way nigella makes food sound like !!!!!! though...and she really is an unhygeinic (sp) so-and-so with all that finger licking and stuff. Urgh!

edit - I decided on baked camembert for dinner...don't get to eat it when hubby is around and since SB told me I can have cooked cheese I have to indulge at every opportunity.

hmm its 1 all now, oh well I did set the auto change for jamie before I realised it clashed with nigella so unless I can be bothered to change channel It'll be Jamie now nigella later.
I like them both, usually make jamie's savoury stuff and nigella's sweet things though. Nigella really knows how to get a huge amount of choc in one small biscuit!

Oh I'm desperate to buy things but no point, if its a boy we have everthing, no point buying clothes for me until I need them coz it might be hot in summer for once! and then I'd have to buy more  I want to go baby shopping!!
I think the reason I've decided I'm having a girl is in the hope I get to go shopping for pink things instead of sorting through Chris's old stuff :p

Hi all.. I've taken to making notes as I read through now!

Age: I'm 24 now, will be 25 in Feb (baby due July). OH is 36 now.

Cleaner: We're both good friends with the cleaners at work so we're going to ask them if they do houses too and see about getting them in for the first few months after baby arrives. We can picture them sending a cleaner to do the work then the three bosses who clean our offices decending on us to visit baby / check their cleaner's work!

Corrie: I was reading, thinking "why haven't I noticed all these Corrie people are preg?" then realised it's cos I haven't seen Corrie for about two weeks; I'm usually asleep!

Hubbies: Mine (well, boyfriend) has been really good today. Got home to find the washing and hoovering done and the bathroom cleaned. He's gone out to play squash now. I've got to get on with peeling potatoes for chunky chips!

I've decided I'm going to try to avoid evening naps now and keep myself busy. The naps only make me feel worse, both from sickness and the lack of stuff getting done around the house so I'm going to see how it works out. Plus I'm out for tea with friends tomorrow, Monday and Tuesday so I'm not going to get chance for a nap then anyway!

Nausea seems to be getting worse. I'm waking up with it in the morning now plus having to eat every few hours from lunchtime onwards to keep it at bay. Before it was just when I woke up in the evening. Also getting a bloody nose everytime I sneeze. So far, I've avoided the lurgy which is going round work.

Made a start on sorting out my messy office today. Did a lot of bending and stretching and lifting heavy files out of drawers whilst my colleagues just watched - grrrr! Insisted I sat down and they made me a cuppa afterwards though so I think they got the message! Might be related but my hips ache tonight. Looking forward to a long bath once OH's mate has gone.

Labour vibes to SB, congrats to PoppyJoe and welcome to Fraser! :D
  • Elle - notes are the only way for me lol.

I had been thinking about your naps and the fact that you feel ill when you wake up. Trying to cut them out may make you feel a bit better? Having said that I needed a nap every day after work until about 15 or 16 weeks :D

Fancy sorting my messy office out too? I promise to make you more cups of tea than you can drink :D

elle what about making flap-jacks ot twinks hob nobs with all the oats they could help you last longer or are a great snack for keeping you going!

i am soooo hungry today? just had dinner and i feel like i havent eaten at all!
think it may be the fact that over the past few weeks i have emptied the freezer and today have filled it up with the goodies and butchers meat:D my butchers is fab at christmas, they looked at me a bit funny when i asked for 2lb chipolata(sp) sausages and 2lb streaky bacon! had to put it in the freezer as i was so tempted to cook them and eat them all up!
What's for you won't go past you
