  • It's something to do with it having 1 odd eye  there have been a few that he has objected to :rotfl:

We both really liked the Once Upon a Time range in Mamas and Papas but it is so ridiculously expensive that I cannot justify it...trying to find something else is a nightmare though.

I really liked that set too but I have been overruled!

I had my heart set on the M&P Zeddy & Parsnip range so we just bought a few key items like the mobile, curtain tie-backs and PJ case (and put some more on baby's wish list for the family) and bought everything else cheaper but in the same colour scheme.

to be honest you really don't need all his character stuff (possibly not what you want to hear but its true) you prob won't use most of it and it's silly expensive

    I know...but it doesn't stop me wanting it :o

We have decided that we are getting a moses basket to match our newly decorated living room rather than to match our bedroom / the nursery ;)

The nursery will need decorating though - the previous owners of this house had a thing for BRIGHT yellow - like this smiley >>> :rotfl:

How can any baby be expected to sleep in a sunshine yellow room??

Well something my mum said made me look up the holiday gift MIL brought back for Chris its a steiff teddy this one http://www.amazon.co.uk/Steiff-Teddy-Bear-Suitcase-111471/dp/B000EEQ3TY
it cost about £30 on the sites I found it on  I almost don't want him to play with it now but he loves it and looks so cute carrying the suitcase around!

DH and I have a collection of Steiff's - obviously pre-babies :D. They are all boxed away for the time being but Poppy has two bears and a rattle which are hers though ;).

That sounds like a compromise (I don't normally do twee so I am sure I would get sick of it pretty quickly if I went the whole hog anyway!!)

Ooo - I think the Zeddy and Parsnip range might be another one I am banned from - does it have a dodgy eye :D

Edit - actually, I was thinking about roundabout boys:
