def agree with the chocolate in trap, try and put it where u have seen them, as there creatures of habit, we had the misfortune to of had them before, but keep a trap spare, Thou I wont go near it, have a phobia of mice etc, when I was about 7, we were cleaning my nans house out, I was on the loo and a rat run across my feet, apparently I screamed and screamed for about an hr........
Good luck, hope its not bats as they are protected and they have the right to stay put, if its a squirrel they have to be dealt with in a special way............so no squirrel in the slow cooker!!
Try environmental health they will send someone out.
Good luck one and all xxxx rip dad... we had our ups and downs but we’re always be family xx0 -

Oh poor you with the mice. We had mice about ten years ago and I felt sick and jumpy all the time. My Grandma used to swear by putting a bit of fat (butter or fat from frying bacon) on the trap - as they have to stop and lick it off there's time for the trap to catch it. Solid items can be stolen too quickly. Course, peanut butter should work the same! Mind you, my Grandma used to make a humane trap using a thimble and bowl, then carry them outside to set free, urgh!
We recently had mice at work - one got beheaded in the fan on my heater, urgh, urgh, urgh!
Hope it all gets sorted soon!0 -
