Today i have listed a few items on Ebay, in the hope i make a few ££££'s. Tomorrow i have to post something i sold on Ebay and i am going to soft play with DD and my friend and her twins.

Morning Smarties!! hope you and your dd enjoy the soft play.
I would use this time to build up your freezer with things that will make eating after a hard days work easier, and stop the i cant be bothered lets get a take away scenario!!! things like pasta sauces, soups, mince dishes, you get the idea.
I know leaving your dd will be hard but it will benifit you both in the long run as she will find it easier to settle at nursery/pre-school. Less tears, less stress and less i am a cruel mummy feelings. (i know its a while down the line yet but trying to make you feel better)
Hope you get a start date for your new job soon...........

I love a good plan - it may not work.... but I love a good plan!0 -
Evening everyone,
Today my daughter and i bought some books for her from a charity shop 4 x 50p so that was good and there really nice books. I bought some milk and bread but other than that its been a no spend day. This afternoon we just stayed in and i listed some items on Ebay. My partner came home from work and we had a mad cleaning spree - house is looking rather tidy and clean.
I wish i had some "spare" money as there is lots of things i want, new storage,a new rug for living room and a new dining table and chairs. Don't think we'll ever have any spare money for those tho.
I haven't used my slow cooker yet - i keep meaning to cook something this week with it, maybe i will on Friday either chilli or a chicken or sumthing. Do i put the mince in straight from the fridge as in raw, is that ok?
I may also do some food to freeze - thanks Raz, theres just not enuf hours in the day is there!
Don't know if i have mentioned but we have mice at the moment, i saw one upstairs, traps and poison have been laid for over a week but we have only managed to catch one. We can hear them in the walls and in the loft - next door even knocked earlier and they can hear them aswell. Pest control are coming out either tomorrow or Thur (free of charge - i phoned the council) so i hope they get them. I am petrified of mice, honestly i go all hot, shaky and just plain petrified.
Not doing so well on the money front, have no money and the rent is due - cannot wait to get paid and get my holiday pay - i just want to get on track and get sorted but its so hard.
Neway i hope ur all well0 -
Hi Smarties!
Have you tried baiting the traps with chocolate? A waste I know - but we had mice at work and tried loads of things (including monster munch crisps and dog biscuits!) but the chocolate worked wonders. Also, try putting them where you have seen them before (ie, in their paths) as thats where they are!!
I usually fry the mince off first but most other meats I put in raw!!start = Wed 19th Nov 2008 £21,225

Hi yep we tried chocolate first and didn't catch them, we currently are using peanut butter and have caught one!!! woo hoo, partner doesn't think its mice in the loft, something bigger - god knows what, bats or squirrels maybe but hopefully the pest man will find out, but we deffo have mice even if there is something else in the loft but i doubt it.
I will be putting things in the slow cooker then going to work, so won't have time to brown the mince????0 -
Hi Smarties
Ive got something bigger in my loft at the minute too. I think its a rat OH thinks a mouse. All I can say is if it is a mouse its a mouse in Doc Martins as it clomps around in the middle of night!! I cant get hold of my council, keep leaving messages but get no response.
Hope yours clear out soon x xDebt at LBM [strike]£17,544[/strike] £5700:TOver £14,000 PAID OFF :T
