    Half price offers are now showing on groceries as well.... shame most of them were already on half price promotion!
    TOP MONEYSAVING TIP

    Make your own Pot Noodles using a flower pot, sawdust and some old shoe laces. Pour in boiling water, stir then allow to stand for two minutes before taking one mouthful, and throwing away. Just like the real thing!

    I'm not having a go at OP, I just think the press release is amusing....

    Commercial director Richard Brasher said: "Some say that a bit of the pleasure they usually get from buying gifts has gone in the current climate.

    "They've told us they still want to enjoy a special Christmas - with big presents for their children and a proper Christmas meal - but they want us to help make their money go further."     :laugh: so Tesco have made these reductions out of the goodness of their heart, :rotfl:or did the ghost of Christmas past visit?


    Britain's biggest grocer said it was cutting prices early on around 1,000 items in response to customers' reluctance to purchase items which would later be discounted. Ah, that's more like it....:rolleyes:

    whats going on? whys this turning into an argument? (from some people at least)

    I think people are entitiled to discuss tescos lastest 'offers'- thats what the thread is for. But theres no need to get personal- esp you TeaBoy, that was completley out of line.
