Hi ThomasTanker. The other posters are griping about Tesco's marketing tricks, not your post. It might seem like they're shooting the messenger, but they're not. Welcome to the forums.
    TOP MONEYSAVING TIP

Make your own Pot Noodles using a flower pot, sawdust and some old shoe laces. Pour in boiling water, stir then allow to stand for two minutes before taking one mouthful, and throwing away. Just like the real thing!
  • Why is everyone so surprised at these discounts?!?!
For the last 4-5 years we've seen retailers go into sale a week or two before Christmas rather than just after.
We've got the same here, but because we're in recession, everyone assumes it's panic sales.

The retailer I work for has posted a 26% increase in profit for the half year, so it's not ALL doom and gloom.
  • Their petrol price is about 3p higher then the rest though...

88.9p a litre in Barrow in Furness, I think that's cheap!

Hi mean momma, would you mind explaining your comment above, I don't post very often and find your comment quite offensive, apologies if I've misinterpreted your comment.
