I'd forgotten about checking on this today, loads of other stuff going on, just logged in and booked a slot for 5pm :j :j :j :j :j

Looking through the stuff though I'm going to end up spending a fortune.

This is the first time I've had a vip slot, how does it work, are you able to put stuff in your basket from 5pm and do you have to have it paid for by 5.30? Is it really slow?

I'm far too excited about this
  • Just phoned next  and the lying cow told me
    a) there was no way of telling whether u r a vip
    b) slots are not being allocated until Sunday and
    c) slots can not be booked over the phone.

    Why bother with the lies?

Anyway it will save me from spending if I don't get a slot, so their loss. I usually spend £600-£800 in their end of season sales.

In my experience I always get my email later than when I can actually book and it's thanks to these forums that I have checked my next account.

Has anyone noticed their available credit increase in the pass day or so? Mine has more than doubled, not sure if this is indication that I will be on the vip email list.

Good luck to everyone and make sure that you have entered your email address on your account, I use to find that from time to time it was missing and I would have to re enter the information to be able to receive the vip invite.

once you have signed in for your vip slot, this could be just before, from previous experience ive been able to sign in and start shopping just before my time slot, and once u have signed in you can takeas long as you need to place your order, quickshop is a good idea just incase the site crashes, never happened to me but have read its happened to others.ive never experienced it being slow, good luck with your order.

You can log into your account any time between 5 and 5.30pm, and take as long as you want -as long as you don't log in they remain inactive for 30 minutes or more as they will automatically log you out. You can place as many orders as you want as long as you make your last log in before 5.30pm.
Basically when you log in it will take you to the sale preview pages, however there will be a little box next to each item that you can tick to buy that item. Then you go to the basket page where you can select the sizes you want. Very user friendly.

last year the christmas vip was a disaster for me, i logged in and when i placed items in my basket they showed but when i placed another one in the basket showed a total of 0.00, it really messed up because when i went to checkout it was all there. although in the summer it was fine and i had no probs.

can anyone answer me this i only have £105.00 left on my account if i place an order then place another order within my time slot can i then pay by my debit card? dh is going to ring them to ask tonite but if anyone has experience of this?

emweaver where are you? did you get a slot this year? and labdab did you get a slot?

shame the old code system was stopped, i remember sitting on here refreshing so often to see if it had been posted.

    thanks

Thanks, going to go through it tomorrow and write down the numbers for the stuff I want so I'm ready just to order. There's some really nice stuff on there this year. Can't wait :j And saves having to get up at 3am to get to the shop
