Total updated as save the change has been transferred into my account, total now £34.98. Can't make my mind up if I am going to use it to pay off a debt or use it for spending money for a Haven weekend I have booked for my DS birthday.

I am a bit confused .Is this a weekly or daily challenge ? or is it when you can afford to put some away?

I dont think I could afford to do it daily. what are others doing?

Hi sistercas - to be honest I'm a bit confused too! :o I think when spam.jam started the challenge, it was a weekly thing to scrape the "odd change" from your current account into savings. But it seems that everyone is doing it differently, so I reckon you can just do whatever works for you!

Me personally, I'm sticking to the weekly "skim" on a Friday, as this is what I've been doing for a while anyway. I just want to keep a record so I can see how much I make in the year - I don't have a fixed target or anything.

For the record, I also put Quidco/ebay/Amazon/Avon earnings into savings too, but I don't want to count that as part of this challenge.

    Hope that helps...

    hey folks:j
i am saving every friday personally so iv got a rounded off figure in my bank acc. to go into the weekend with but its entirely up to you, the point is its only little amounts and regular saving and thats what counts.
so save whenever you can, its the leaving it alone and keeping it until next december that i will find is the 'challenge' bit

Sistercas - everyone appears to have their own style. It's a wholly inclusive challenge, the only rule being save, save, save :money:

Got paid from PT job today, so transferred half (£20) across, it's an irregular shift so not included in my usual budgeting. The other £20 is being used tomorrow at a meeting I have to go to but will claim back so when I get it back I will transfer that too. Signature updated.
