  • Got 3 suitcases for £10 today at Shrewsbury store, they should have been over £30 each, so good bargain for summer holidays. Staff in store very helpful, showed me which cases had the huge discounts and those that only had 50% off.
  • Hello. The woolworths in northallerton where I live has 60% off everything and 70% off all cards. Its due to close tomorrow. Rubbish left, yet packed with people and huge queues!!!
  • Was in Dundee Woolies today, which closes tomorrow :( was very sad to see it so bare, I almost felt guilty buying stuff!

Everything was at least 60% off, but there was barely any CDs or DVDs, and the ones that they had were ridiculous prices even with the discount (e.g. a Busted CD with a £12 label!!)

The best thing was probably the confectionery - got lots of cheap Double Deckers - and the stationery - plenty of diaries, pens etc.

Had to witness a man being very rude to one of the staff after he was refused a refund which was very unpleasant to see :( his parting words as he stormed out of the shop were "I'm glad you're going to be out of a job!" :( xxx

i think its supposed to hold something ?

could it be a jewellery travel case?? they usually have straps that you undo to thread your rings or chains on and pockets for smallthings like earrings :) .

Surprised the staff don't just loot the stuff for themselves, it's hardly like anyone's going to notice with all the stores looking like a bomb site

I know what you mean its been so busy in there also who knows what going missing for example my woolies had all there cds in the cases and with no security tags whats stopping anyone taking the cds out,if i remember right did they not keep the cds away and display empty cases, they must not care anymore.
I purchased a few cds and when i got home the one i wanted most had no cd in the case,so i checked my others incase, went back thinking they not have it anymore but they had must have forgot to put the cd in the case, phew
