It's so sad. My local is almost empty. Everything is 70% off, managed to get some dvds. I was queuing up and a man behind me had a trolley that they use for filling their stock, I wondered what he was doing, then realised you can literally buy everything. Hope everyone can get new jobs.0

Was the first in our local Woolies today (no queue!) grabbed the following for the Wii:
Zelda - was £34.99 - paid £17.50
Guitar Hero World Tour (without guitar) - was £29.99 - paid £15
Super Swing Golf - was £24.97 - paid 12.49
& Smackdown Vs Raw 2009 - was £28.99 - paid £14.50
Total = £59.49
But the bill came to £78.42 because she charged me twice for Zelda. Rather than refunding me £17.50 she refunded me £27.49.
Also bought Halloween on DVD (the Jamie Lee Curtis one) for £1.48!
so I paid £49.50
That was the best of the selection at our Woolies.
I will say that I held the door open for the person behind me, who then decided to rush past me to the entertainment section. I thought it was quite rude considering there were only two of us there.
Oh, and I did (politely) ask the lady on the till to look in the drawer and tell me which other Wii games were in there. Smackdown vs Raw and Guitar Hero weren't out on the shelves but they did have some. I picked up Wario Smooth Moves but that wasn't in the drawer :rolleyes: ho hum! I'm not complaining. I'm still pleased.0 -
yeah must say nessa i noticed quite a few games were in the drawer that wernt out on shelf maybe staff r hoping to buy them to make a few pound when they go extra cheap and who can blame them for getting a few bargains for themselves0

Mine's closing today, we went yesterday and everything was 60% off on top of the sale stickers, DD1 was thrilled cause she managed to get Charmed seasons box set for £16 each was £40 sale price. I got a couple of kids books for 30p and 20p repectively, and some batteries/xmas bags etc. Wasn't much left and I felt a bit sad when I left no-more will I be going into Woolies0
