I visited the Lewisham (London) branch just a few days ago- it was terrible! I don't like to stereotype but the people who shop alot in Lewisham don't take the greatest care....
Broken/smashed Christmas decorations, half eaten sweets, no, not the packets half eaten, literaly half eaten sweets! empty shelves, opened packages of toys shrewn all over the empty shelves-...the chocolate was holding up well, plenty in stock (20%off was all I could see in terms of an offer, making it far more expnsive then the TKMaxx and pound shops in the area, so perhaps this is why). Also, almost fully in stock on the homeware department.
I went in looking for a shredder but none were to be found, no electronics in the store either (sold out) unless you count the wierd and odd battery operated massagers and etc.
Anyone recommend a woolies in London that does have shredders?0 -
Was in the Corstorphine store in Edinburgh yesterday and got a few bargains - silver and gold CD boxes with ribbon round them, £1.79 on the shelf, 40% off, but went through the till at 10p! Shop wasn't quite empty, but half off it is now cordoned off.Consumer Pulse - £140 Debenhams & £20 HMV vouchers - so far.Lightspeed panels - £130 Paypal so far!Ipsos Panels - £20 Boots vouchers - so far!Valued Opinions - £10 Amazon voucher - so far!:T0

I'd recommend a visit to Woolies for students like myself.
Picked up big refil pads for 30p each, good brand pens (paper mate, bic etc) between 40p-£1 for packs. Binders going really cheap too! Saved a fortune cause I'm always forking out for this stuff, and it all adds upComping Fairy bring some luck my way! :dance:Love my Fiance Spiceboy :happyhear:iloveyou:0 -
What's with the advertising on tv still? Prebooked and purchased in advance?0

Same as their advertising in national newspapers - seems a bit of a waste of money if the administrators are trying to reduce debts before they close...wouldn't have thought a company in administration is still allowed to advertise?0
