Woolies - closing down sale tomorrow (11/12/08)

Gloucester store is now showing up to 60% on items. DVDs and CDs are now 20% and there isn't a video game to be seen anywhere. I can only assume these have been taken off sale as the rack space they occupied have now been replaced with sweets and things. There were a couple of Rock Band / Guitar Hero things at 20% off though but nothing else.

I have heard they will get paid up until the last working day.....
Then they will get redundacy...
If you want to help staff then buy fixtures and fittings as there is a bonus to be earned if these are sold...
Or at least that is the rumour...

60% off party stuff eg paper plates, napkins etc (dr who, spiderman)
60% off posters, cards
40% off clothes, worth it kettles, liquidisers, microwaves
20% off sweets & juice

i got some boxes of microwave popcorn for 80p each as well, better than the bogof offer in tescos!

they also had reduced WWE clothes in our store, with the extra 40% off as well.

I think they are 30% basically everything that was 10% off is now 20% off, all 20% is now 30%, all 30% is now 40% and all 50% is now 60% does that make sense :rotfl:

Watch the 60% off school clothes as mine didn't go through today was coming through the till at 40% even though barker card 60%.

i'm terrible, i always check the receipt and also try to add up what it should come to before i get to the till
