There are at least 3 Woolies in Glasgow - wonder if that means they will all close on the same day?

Oh my life. Our little store in our little town survives for now. I'm in shock.
Baby Year 1: Oh dear...on the move

Lily contracted Strep B Meningitis Dec 2006  Now seemingly a normal little monster.
Love to my two angels that I will never forget.
  • does that mean they are opening on the 27?
    :heart2:Stupid, unreliable vampire.:heart2:
  • my nearest is Barmouth and its on the list :-( has planned to go there today as I want a basket toy box thing, but I assume now it will be packed.

its 10 mile drive there, the store has customers from up to 20 miles away as there is nothing like woolies here or miles around, no kids clothes shops, no CD/DVD shops, etc so people will face an hours drive now to wrexham, aberystwyth or bangor if they want anything like that. (not everyone has the internet)
  • anyone been in a woolies thats on the list?
  • I love that S!!!!horpe gets some of its letters automatically blocked!!

I live near the Ballymena store. It's not suprising it closing, the shelves are nearly empty. All they seem to have left is Chocolate Oranges and Toblerone:rotfl:
I like my money right where I can see it - hanging in my closet.;)
  • The one in barmouth still has a lot of stock, or did on thursday and saturday, mainly houshold stuff though, and had a delivery on tuesday too?

Can't see why that one couldnt have been saved by wilkosons or somethin as there is no competition locally
