Apparently loads of stock due into stores in the next day or so......[emptying the complete supply chain ie this is the stuff that was on the boats from China and in warejhouses when they went into admin]. They are now clearing everything into stores for the final sell off
807 high streets will be looking like a bit derelict in a months time with all Woolies boarded up!! Real recession/depression-type image..0 -
i have just been to the parkway one ion sheffield and indeed they have now got stock with 50 and 60% off!
it wasnt that busy and not many queues!

Hi all, just been in to my local Woolies and thought I would say they are getting ready to close in the next couple of weeks.
The staff are not getting paid and have to put a claim in for their final wages (which they may or may not get!), as such they have put tip jars on the tills. If anyone is shopping there over the next few weeks please spare a thought and throw a couple of quid in the jars.
It's not nice thinking they are going to have a very poor Christmas and it's not their fault their managers ran the place in to the ground!0 -
My local one isn't on the list, thought it would be as it's quite a small store. Saying that though they still seem to have quite a bit of stock!0
