Anything worth buying will have been bought already. Just the tat left and the stuff the administrators can liquidate for a decent price in bulk, so not much of a reduction.

Aww, come on guys. I LOVE Woollies and will be missing it a great deal when its gone! I think it is one of the few shops I regularly shop in and buy from. Its a blinking shame!

Sale is exactly the same as last week "UP TO" 50% off.

As the nice young man was explaining to the woman in my local Woollies it isn't 50% off everything.

Glad I didn't waste my time then. From what I could see on Sky news this morning it looked like it was the same old sale anyway. I will wait till the "real" sale starts before I go rushing out - like the vulture I am :D

Very few additional discounts I saw.

If I had £1 for every customer I heard ask a member of staff if it was 50% off everything, I'd be doing pretty well right now.

Still the queues were huge, I'd estimate 30 mins wait and people were buying. Not sure they even need to discount much further at this rate.
