andan - ill and still the longest list on the thread. We salute you!

Am more emotionally ill than physically, plus doing my list is a comfort too me:rotfl:

Am chuffed though, as have just found out how to put foil behind my radiators, other half wasn't keen as he thought other people would be able to see it, but i have seen the video and they won't. So this weekend i will be buying some foil and sticking to cardboard that we have in excess, rather than buying the all purpoe stuff, more mse. Then fitting it behind my radiators, if it makes a difference and can bring down the heating bill then its well worth it.

Ooh, just heard back from eon, i sent them an email regarding their site as it wasn't working properly. They have emailed to apologise and told me that a 100tipss book for savings on elec and gas is on its way to me!! Think i shall complain more often.

Let's see, today I have done:

    - checked online banking
    - completed meal plan through Boxing Day
    - put together grocery list for coming week
    - put together menu/grocery list for party on Boxing Day
    - brought snack for DS when going for walk earlier so no temptation to buy anything
    - left Christmas tree lights off during day so not using excess electricity
    - washing laundry at lower temp
    - put on jumper when chilly instead of turning up heat (I am notoriously bad about this - so this is a big one for me! :rotfl: )
    - packed away baby clothes that we were going to ebay (as we are now expecting and what's the point of selling them when we'll need them again?)
    - just took lovely hot chocolate chip scones out of Remoska so hubby won't be tempted to buy treats at work
    - walked on errands this morning, instead of driving (although to be honest, walking was less hassle than scraping off windshields and defrosting the whole car!):rotfl:

    I will be:
    - reviewing christmas gift list to check off what has been purchased and what needs to be purchased so no duplications by accident
    - lunch out of store cupboard
    - going over rest of month budget as gas/elec bill came in today
MSE mum of DS(7), and DS(4) (and 2 adult DCs as well!)

    Hello,

Off to see my 3 yr old son in nativity this afternoon and am unreasonably excited about it. Who said there's nothing in my life?

Have checked online banking (it's that bad time of the month for me.. eek)
    Eaten my packed lunch
    had breakfast at home
    walked to nursery
Will be finally getting to the pound shops etc after the show so hopefully I can pick up the bits and pieces I need. Will be buying chocolate and a comic to keep the monster quiet in his pushchair, so not very dfw but at least it will help me keep my sanity!

Ooh, nearly forgot - persisted with slicve the pie last night until I got to three stars, which means my earnings have increased per review. Hoorah.

    • checked online banking and updated spreadsheet
    • lunch and dinner from storecupboard (nice new bread bought last night - just can't convince myself to buy a read maker)
    • wrap some more pressies and try to finish writing my cards
    • need to get some more stamps to post rest of cards
    • decide on last few bits to get for christmas
    • daily clicks
    • added 70p to sealed pot as my DH left it on the worktop when he went to work
Can anyone tell me what the daily scratchcards are please?

    Hi Emma

The one I do is on take a break bingo. You get £1 free for sign up and as long as you have funds in your account you can do a free daily scratchcard. You normally win 10p - 25p but I won £100 a few weeks ago (and I've never deposited a penny!) however today I am getting the message that I need to deposit to get another free scratchcard so it might be all over now butit was fun while it lasted.
