I used medised with Bea when she was a baby, but I think they changed the guidelines on it as lots of parent were using it on a daily basis to get a decent nights sleep (it has a sedative in it I think). I swear by it especially when they have a cold as it really unblocks them and gives them a good sleep to get better. Oh any by the way the cough is around so much at the moment, bea also has it. Had it for a week then it went for about 4 days and she has it back again now..sounds like she's smoking 40 a day!

Daphne - don't think you are a bad mother. Its difficult getting to the doctors anyway, then when you get there they say they can't do anything and you feel like a drain on resources.........but he has been coughing for a while...put your mind at rest and get him down there.

And if you think you are a bad mother check these beauties out.

DD1 had a broken arm for two days cos I thought she was just trying to get out of school (to be fair she didn't moan much!)

DS decided to skateboard down a slide at a childs birthday party and bit through his lip (and I was too !!!!ed to take him to the hospital - in fact I was REALLY !!!!ed!) maybe i shouldn't have admitted that!

Luc, my hair does look shinier and has a nice colour to it, but its not as dramatic as I thought, but thats because my hair is dark......deep sigh! if i was blonde and curly and could go dark and straight. Because I am dark and straight I can only ever go ginger and slightly wavy!

Oh and i just did a 5 mile run in 45 mins :T look like a beetroot now even though its freezing outside!
