well we have had mince pies and mulled wine, now lets have some christmas log...
I am free, no studying for a while, so Ihave just chilled in bed and watched the last episode of spooks on iplayer. Got to get up and ready for work now.
Oh and the mystic violet doesn't take too well on dark hair, I just have a red scalp!

Morning Sammy, we were worried that something bad had happened with the hair when you didnt return last night:rotfl: Shame that it hasnt made much difference to your colour though.
Its my last evening class tonight until 12th January 2009:j so I can chill now on a night time without having to rush back out at 6pm twice a week.
See you all later and I might have a lurk while at work too;) ...........................so dont call me bad things:DBut these things take time, I know that I'm, the most inept that ever stepped.0 -
Morning. Yule log has to be one of my favourite Xmas sweets. Want some now
Have you seen your hair in natural daylight yet Sammy - you might get a surprise. When I used to do mine dark auburn I was always disappointed until I saw it in daylight...
Got an easy day today but won't be online after 9 - tax technical update training until lunchtime then midwife/physio this afternoon and food shopping for weekend's festivities followed by cooking some of it in advance. Might get to sit down around 12 hours from now...
Have a good one everyone.
P.S. Bunny your hair looks fab. Tempted to get rid of my blonde bits after seeing how good you look!26.2.19/14.1.19: T MC 3629.26/3629.26 : VM 0% 1050/13876.59 : W 0% 100/1485 = 4409.26/18990.85 =25.17%28.1.19/28.1.19 Hubs 0% £400/£2,977 =13.44%SPC 2019 #073

I only appear busy cos I only tell you when I have loads to do;) :rotfl:
Actually December has been particularly full so far but I prefer it that way. My friend Miss G was round for her tea last night so we had a lovely girly gossip over a plate of veggie pasta then indulged in apple pie & custard when Hubbles got home form work around 926.2.19/14.1.19: T MC 3629.26/3629.26 : VM 0% 1050/13876.59 : W 0% 100/1485 = 4409.26/18990.85 =25.17%28.1.19/28.1.19 Hubs 0% £400/£2,977 =13.44%SPC 2019 #073

Morning lovely friends!
It took me 45 mins to get to work today-and it's less than 10 miles! It was sooooo slippery-are they not gritting anymore? It was like Bambi on ice.
I am liking my hair actually, it's nice and shiny-although DS said he didn't like it, lol.
Work for me today and mardy boss not in-so that's nice!Empty pockets never held anyone back, only empty heads and empty hearts can do that -Peale0 -
Morning all - <Maz helps herself to chocolate log>
Don't mind if i do!!!
work as usual for me today... zzzzz!
You're so lucky going off to Centre Parcs before Xmas bunster! i'm very jealous...
Sammy - i did wonder how the colour would take on your hair as it's already very dark... as Luc says you might see it better outside...
Bun - i love that colour on you, but you look like a mardy mare in your avvy! anyone would think you didn't like it! - and is it just me, but you look like you are nekkid in the picture too, not that that is a bad thing....
<wipes chocolate off her face before anyone else comes into the room>I'm just a seething mass of contradictions....(it's part of my charm!)0 -
I can't believe how late I am to work today, that's what you get when you leave washing/drying/straightening hair until the morning
Worried about DS though, he has such a terrible cough, at what point do you cave in and see a GP? Because it has been going on for over a month now. It started to get better about 2 weeks ago and there were a few nights where it didn't wake him... and then it's slowly got worse again, and he needs calpol/nurofen 4-hourly at night just to be comfortable0 -

Morning DD. Sorry DS is so poorly. I've got no experience obviously but i think after 4 weeks I would phone the docs or even the NHS phoneline and see what they think. If it were me coughing after 4 weeks I would do the same...
