At least two (and I am sure I know more) of the people I am talking about studied degrees in the UK in subjects like Law so their English is better than "good". They were the only people with English as a second/third language I noticed who could work out what is and isn't slang.I'm not cynical I'm realistic

i also see many that arrive into the office and don't even shower after cycling to work.
just because they think that they saving the environment it doesn't mean that they can't be hygenic. very strange.
We have a shower in Chambers - one of the tenants cycles in daily from Lee Green, and several people use it. Handy if people are going out after work, as well....much enquiry having been made concerning a gentleman, who had quitted a company where Johnson was, and no information being obtained; at last Johnson observed, that 'he did not care to speak ill of any man behind his back, but he believed the gentleman was an attorney'.0 -
I have plenty of friends and colleagues who cycle into central London.
I also have worked with lots of people who use motorbikes and scooters to get around.
