tough if the claim office dont like you, you probably paid a small fortune for the ticket in the first place so why not get something back - good luck
A fortune indeed, £2,660 to be precise  I've got about £20 in claims so far and will carry on claiming each and every time the train is delayed!

Waving hi to all - trains Piq - is that - scratches head - public transport -?? - haven't been on a train in ages - Dec I guess I love trains - but I guess if you go on them every day you would get bored of them - bit like ferries - everyone gets so excited about them but its like getting on a bus for us. Never find flying boring even if its only to Inverness - I love flying - not very green but hey ho.
Sounds like the captain's head spring has 'sprung' - tell him its too early and to behave.
Well done on the lottery win. I am all at sixes and sevens and eights - moved my DD's to mid month - and therefore whilst now I am normally panicing about what I need in my account - there now shouldnt be anything to take off - but I am still very nervous - don't hold with banks ACTUALLY doing what they say they will do.
My spending diary is a bit of a shock - 3 NSD's this week and the other days averaged over £50 quid each = horrified.Total debt 26/4/18 <£1925 we were getting there.

Fay, the nsds are not supposed to be balanced out with £50 spends!:rotfl:oops....
Still the spending diary must be helping with identifying where the money goes and what else needs budgeting for and what is purely spend. The old saying of Rome wasn't built in a day still holds true.
You're doing so well, you've faced up to it and are dealing with it, mistakes and forgetfulness do happen, doesn't matter darling!Total debt at October 2008: £67,213.30

I know rome wasn't built in a day - but how about two???? Recites mantra - I must be patient - I must be patient.............Hope the captain behaves better tomorrow - the natives here are revolting - nothing unusual there

I think the Captain must have had the same daft beans as the dogs today! When my friend and I went for our walk, the dogs (our 2 plus a guest) were a bunch of lunatics,:beer:0

Spring must be in the air - I actually got excited yesterday because I could put a load of washing on the line outside, how sad is that? I also managed to do some clearing up in the garden as well. It is amazing how the little things count when you take money out of the equation. One life - your life - live it!0

Once a month - 23 windows, 7 glass outside doors (yes seven - its bloody ridiculus - who needs that many doors???????) and a conservatory that runs the whole length of the outside of the house. (5/6 beds) - the joys of looking after a very old house for a pal
I thought given the size of the task 20 a month was OK? Someone else quoted 30
