He he he watch the hamster melt....hi HP

Ok Piq - a bit like this - this novel of yours -
'She opened the stable door, exhilerated from her ride, her hair tousled, mud on her face and ..........'
you see you are much better at this than me - no idea where it goes from here
'She opened the stable door, exhilerated from her ride, her hair tousled, mud on her face and ..........
....noticed the handsome yet taciturn handyman inspecting her saddle stand...
or
...realised there was a goat in her stable...(that did happen once, the Captain was not amused as it was eating his hay)

daily update
...there isn't one really. Payday is next week, everything apart from the vet bill is paid.
All I have to do is pay the free month council tax across to the card. Will do this Monday - or shall I do it now? No, I'll do it Monday! Then it's sitting there in case of emergency all weekend....a hundred pounds worth of chocolate?
I've done the meal plan for next week and tried to do economy meals, I'd like to come in under budget for one week if I can! So there's a pasta bake and a sweet potato and bean casserole looming on the menu sheet! For some reason I have four tired looking lemons in a bowl, so will make a lemon torte to use them up. Think I will also make a tray of hobnobs, so that I've got something nice to bring in for lunches next week.Total debt at October 2008: £67,213.30

Quick housewifes tip (firstly don't eat 100 quids worth of chocolate - at least not by yourself)
(You probably do this already....but here you are anyway) I slice lemons and freeze them on a tray (plate) or something in the freezer then bag them up when frozen for nice drinks - bits lemon when you need them etc) Keep for ages
I do this for my occasional G&T's, lemon couscous or just get them out when I need them.
Poo to council tax BTW - keep your money til Monday.

Actually, I don't freeze lemons, I never thought of it
:o That's why they're looking tired and old in the bowl. How clever of you!! I shall do it in future. Unfortunately, my gin evaporated once the seal of the bottle was broken. I blame the manufacturers myself, shoddy workmanship...
Hmmmm, no to £100 worth of chocolate? Not sure how that's a housewifely tip, but I shall bow to your greater wisdom. Unless, of course, emergency strikes!Total debt at October 2008: £67,213.30
