Well the pub crawl was so fast it certainly bounced my flab :rotfl:The last one until Easter, hopefully a little less flab and a lot less debt by then too...

    :rotfl:

the way you described your pub crawl you remind me of the cartoon character Therwell (spelling?) but you are probably nothing like her and far too young to know who i am talking about

    Many a true word....

A friend (?) bought me a Thelwell print of a little fat person jumping without their pony, just after I did just that with the Captain :rotfl:not quite that rotund yet, but working on it! And yes I am old enough to know who Thelwell is....

    2 January 2009

Good start have forgotten to forward myself my spreadsheet, so I'm all alone at work with very little to do. Will spend the day recycling paper. Won't be a nsd as I must buy a basic wall calendar, can't operate without one, need to know when things are due.

I'm going to do a weekly meal planner as I've found that the challenge of making meals out of leftovers quite motivating and very cheap. Last night's pea, lemon and parmesan risotto is doubling up for lunch today :D Tonight's dinner will be pasta in a roasted tomato and marscapone sauce.

I will probably send out the mis-selling ppi letter to the bank that put it on my loan without asking. Have just got them to take it off, saving me an extra £25 a month. Will also find out what has happened to my phone bill, I changed suppliers and haven't had a bill yet, nice, but could be frightening later....

At last....there you are and very welcome you are too, I've missed you! I really hope you and all those you care about have a healthy and happy 2009 Fay

Well, I'm tallish...5'6", elegant by candlelight and through wine tinted glasses...

I've really enjoyed using the leftovers, don't really want to go shopping at all, though I've almost run out of veggies now, discovered some blue cheese hiding at the back of the fridge, just waiting for some broccoli I think....

    ...continued...

Have done the mis-sold ppi letter, feel a bit nervous about sending it, but will anyway! and I've bought my wall calendar, it's gone up from 99p to 2.49:eek: but absolutely essential for running my life (I bought next year's crackers for 50p too, just need to remember where I put them by the time I get to December, oh wait, I could write it on the calendar :T)

  • Waving Piq - sorry been a bit quiet - kids away always sends me a bit (want to say nutty) but thinking thats normal so 'nuttier' probably best. December was a rubbish month! But enough about all that nonsense - onwards in 2009!! Best of luck to us all!!

We sound like tall and short - I am only 5ft in socks (probably less without). I am not so much elegant by candle light but easy to miss!

I got christmass paper already and will now write it on the calender to remind me where I have stashed it - well done piq - you have inspired me!
Will do a PPi letter am also terrrified but have 3 cc with 3 ppi's so I need get sorted, go for it!!

Right enjoy the rest of your day am off to get sorted for later on - may even put head into the office...........xxxx
