Hey well done to the extra payment saving you so much money.

I paid my car tax today saved the cc charge by paying by debit card and saved another bit by paying for a year instead of my normal six months :)

Too many stingy whips on here though x

It's hamster, bringing out the whipping side of lucielle and I :o actually I think Dragon started it...

I'm going to pay my car tax today, not looking forward to losing 185.00, keep thinking how much better it would look against my debts:D

The extra payments make a huge difference, they seem to bring down the interest, which in turn bring down the date. I appear to have become addicted to my spreadsheet as well as the snowball

    update

Just like Fay I paid the car tax today, much easier online than taking all the documentation palaver to the Post Office. Had saved the 185.00 but it still hurt to sign it over, it would look so much better against my debt

Also made my 20/20 nsd's for the month. Now somewhere there ought to be all that non spent cash, I wonder where it is?

Going to do another personal store cupboard challenge and just spend £10 for next week and use up freezer, fridge and cupboard contents. Should only need cheese, yogurt, salad and fruit. Will work it out tomorrow!

Have meeting with idiot boss in an hour, fairly sure it will be painful in one way or another.

  • Hey there

we are car tax twins - :)

I am also joining you on the store cupboard challenge this week - I only have about £10 quid left of my march budget when I pay the milk - we have lots in so will think of winding cupboards down as will also be off for about 7-10 days in early April as well at courses etc and decorating OH/our? house on the mainland.

I draw the line at the blackbird and the wren - not enough to warrant a stew at the moment.

Plums on the stove (did them this am) so might make some crumble tonight.

Also just got - 'How to feed your whole family...............' from the library and a book about labelled food and what to make with it - ie Nutella brownies etc - so as long as the girls have laid some eggs - we might even sneak in a batch of brownies. :)

Hope idiotchops doesnt give you too much grief.

Meeting with idiot boss was interesting in that he never mentioned closing down my team, kept asking for my advice and saying what a good job I was doing  Has he finally read the report I wrote that proves how much money we save the company? Don't know what to think at the moment.

I spend all the time before a meeting wondering if this is it - job over....It's exhausting and demoralising.

Maybe I'll get another pay packet out of them after all...
