I came on and said I needed to lose a bit of weight (and I do) and then realised I can't really join as I don't have any scales :o ah well, now I'm not eating chocolate, it should go down a little bit on its own.

that only works if you have to put £2 in if you gain lb. :)

The theory is that I've put all my extra cash against the debts, so shouldn't have any spare. I suppose I could do a tenner for 10lbs - but need to admit something - I'm not very good at dieting - I'm quite likely to put on weight. Working on the putting money against debt, does this mean I can spend if I put on weight? No? I didn't think it did....

Scales do not tell the truth, not worth having in the house. Mine tell horrific lies and my wardrobe shrinks my clothes....

:rotfl: if you are allowed to spend it on yourself you'd probably buy chocolate - or put it towards another saddle - so I guess I need a rethink.
Total debt 26/4/18 <£1925 we were getting there.

  • I htink my scales are a random number generator - not that they ever generate numbers that I like or are smaller than the first numbers.

    ......oh well.

Like shrinking clothes in the wardrobe - I usually manage it in the machine. I am sure not tumble drying makes your clothes smaller.

    update

Phoned Littlewoods scratchcard helpline (in Gibralter, so I phoned from work :o) and got my card changed for withdrawals. I've got 29.00 on there at the moment :j Will probably play a couple of pounds to show willing and withdraw 25.00. So far I've had 45.00 from the free scratchcards, not bad for very little effort!

Today is payday, the following has been done:
    • moved 150.00 into second account for annual bills etc
    • paid 80.25 to the card, this is the difference in minimum payments since I started in August
    • worked out that paying one months council tax saving of £127 has saved me 404.24 in interest and taken a month off the date I clear it!
    • set up a shiny new worksheet for this month
