Won't be around much today, have stuff to do for work, gets in the way of real life sometimes....

    Weekend shananigans

The Captain was asked to be older sensible horse for some youngsters who have the opportunity to be police horses!! So proud.... It meant he had to lead them (with me on board) through scary things to show them the things weren't really scary at all! So we marched past a herd of cows, obviously potential Sergeant horses will need to be able to round up rioting cows. We then marched past some boy scouts waving flags, again huge rabble potential! The Captain didn't bother with such trivialities! However, the cadets were creating quite a fuss further back in the parade, an awful lot of snorting, farting and going backwards, worrying if all the police force do this in training.

Finally we had to go round a large bonfire at least three cadets took off at this point. Afterwards the cadets marched past the Captain, who stood to attention basking in the esteem and admiration the cadets hold him in! The horse is a born show off! loves the attention!

Think I will have to get him a police captain's browband...

  • Oh what a good boy he is.

    So brave.

I think he should be promoted to Inspector or some other high ranking officer - perhaps Chief Hay Inspector?!
