    I Good Morning

Taplady (((hugs))) to you, Lesley & her family.

Am sitting in a freezing house as heating has really given up this time, luckily the Gasman is due here between 8 and 1, I do hope he can fix it. Just about to light a big log fire in the front room.

Lakeside was heaving yesterday - not pleasant. Also still a couple more things to get as stocks in some shops were low. Hopefully its all stuff I can get locally. I need to go through some stuff Ive ordered online - still waiting for a couple of bits.

Today will be hanging about for the gas man. Will do office work whilst waiting and while he is here. I need to pop out to a supermarket (probably Morrisons) and go to local butchers to get some sausages. Will also order Xmas gammon from the butchers. At some point today will write a Xmas food shopping list - that will be fun.

Anyway off to light the fire before I completely freeze - have a great day.
    x

Oh whilst in Costa yesterday (treated myself to a Mocha) saw some star shaped biscuits in cellophone bags which looked lovely. Have some cellophane bags from Lakeland so will hunt out my Xmas biscuit cutters and will make some of these this week.

Good morning everyone. Feeling pants again. W*rk likely to be difficult to deal with again today.

Porridge shortly. Meal tonight will be one of the 'mystery items' that came out of the freezer. I think they're the last of the unidentified items. I think everything else is labelled.

DS has to go to careers meeting at school tonight and dh is taking him, so I will have some time to get on, if I don't get on as well as I want today. Seems likely at the moment.

    Morning all,
I didn't get anything done y/day due to a phone call from DD1 sobbing uncontrolably. A fox had killed all 7 rabbits, they were strewn all over the garden. She collected them and tried to clean up the mess as best she could before DGD saw the carnage. DD2 had been sent home from work and had come here after seeing the Dr. She has bronchitis. So DD2 and I drove to Bath to be with DD1 and DGD. I re-checked the garden and found 1 of the rabbits wedged behind a post, sadly it was dead. All acounted for except 1, I expect the fox took that one. I know many would say "they're only rabbits" but they were special and ran free in the garden and house, a part of the door in the huge pen had broken off and that's how they got out.
It broke my heart to see DD and DGD so distraught.
Got home at 6pm after stopping off to do some food shopping, Somerfield are doing Andrex loo rolls 2x9 rolls for £6 so stocked up, got some ys fish for tonights dinner.

Really must start the decs today, and tackle ironing.

DB2 phoned last night to say he and Kids are not coming for Xmas day, to many reasons to go into. So I have loads of veggie stuff in the freezer, made/bought for them so will try and convince DH to have them for dinners/lunches.

((((((((( Hugs to all poorlies, friends and families))))))))))))))

Morning all, will have a catch up of posts later. Just killing a little time between buses for a small amount of work. I'm at my main uni campus atm trying not to buy a coffee, lol. Getting the free bus to the other campus though which is nice and MSE!

Can't believe I'm going to be handing out leaflets in this weather, it's freezing! I was concerned about losing a toe, couldn'tn feel my toes about five minutes after leaving the house this morning, oh well, there's free coffee and mince pies so I'll have to keep 'showing people where it is' to get warm methinks, lol.

*huggles* to all who need or want them today, keep warm and take care x

Morning everyone. In work today, cold & damp today. Vegetable soup defrosting for tea and plate of chicken from yesterdays roast will be bunged in it as well. The last of gammon is in my sarnies for lunch, lasted a day or two longet than I thought it would.

I saw some microwave sock/boot things on TV last night, decided I'm going to get OH a pair, she usually can't feel her feet at this time of year, so maybe of some help.

Edit: N9eav, your so right about the teaching thing. I was talking to someone on Saturday, her SIL qualified four years ago and has only worked as a supply teacher.
