Icesave Compensation: Anyone still waiting for money?

Wife is still waiting. She was transferring her iSA out of Icesave and caught up in the collapse. The cheque was returned to her from Bradford & Bingley unpaid. When she accesses Icesave only her easy access account shows and not the ISA as from the Icesave perspective, it was closed on the 17th september when they sent the cheque to BB.
She has asked several times for a paper compensation form as she knows already that she will need one and therefore does not want to wait until January (the FSCS REVISED target!). Seems to be going round in circles though and still cannot get hold of one.
Another concern is that by the time she gets the form, sends it back, waits 6 weeks (another optimistic FSCS target), gets the cash, gets the ISA transfer certificate etc, we will be in a new tax year and the money will have lost its ISA tax free wrapper!0 -
Am i the only person who is eligible to claim via electronic payment [apparently sent second email 24/11/08 but never recieved] but can not acess my account due to not recieving second part of my password.Secondly icesave told me today they have an IT problem with orange, does this mean all icesave customers that use orange as an ISP are having problems recieving emails for claiming and passwords etc0

I had a phone call today from someone at FSCS following up the web form I filled in, but he didn't know when the forms would be sent out.I am an Accountant. Anyone else think we should get interest paid from 7 October to the date compensation is received at some sort of rate? (Not necessarily the Icesave rate, but base rate or at least the rate paid on overpaid tax)I am an Accountant. Strangely I'm just happy to get my money back without having to go through the Iceland compensation scheme which would have taken months if we got it back at all."The whole problem with the world is that fools and fanatics are always so certain of themselves, but wiser people so full of doubts."

Hi Dan,
My wife and have separate Icesave ISA's.
Went through the, apparently common, experience of being unable to access account/s.
She received '1st' email, I didn't.
After 'phone calls to FSCS received resets.
Then letters arrived "as we had not nominated bank account/s" would have to claim via forms.
Filled in sent back (proof of posting) 27.11.2008.
FSCS say six weeks after receipt of forms to send off cheques.
As I understand it there are a mere 16000 investors in similar positions. Just why it should take six weeks is beyond me. Might add that neither of us have received acknowledgement of receipt of our claim forms from FSCS either by post or email. It is all rather worrying.
Best regards

I rang FSCS today and was told that paper application forms are being sent out starting this week and over the next couple of weeks.
Last week I was told they were being sent out end of that week/beginning of this week.
I actually sent a letter requesting a form towards the end of November and I haven't even had a reply.I am an Accountant. My husband has been calling the Icesave helpline to get his password reset many times but due to his Orange email account the second part has never been received. Orange deny its their problem after complaining. Last week he received a phonecall from the FSCS advising him to request again but for them to post the remainder (The FSCS use a third-party company to administrate this service and have no real power to help).Good news hey but nearly a week later taking the xmas post into consideration and nothing.
He rang the Icesave helpdesk again tonight and they've reset the password another time (6th attempt I think) and would post again. When questioned on why it wasn't posted in the place the helpdesk person gave some lame excuse of an IT and printing problem.0
