Could you do one for me, I am rubbish at setting up excel spreadsheets but can use them once they are up and running! :T
Anyway, today I have:
Walked past the massive tescos which I work next to on the way to posting sold ebay parcels and did not go on. Spent less on P+P than I thought for 7 parcels which covers the paypal costs a bit. :rotfl:
Had HM soup for lunch and took just about not soft ryvitas to go with it
Worked out meal plan for week ahead and planned freezer meal of fish and veg for tea :rotfl:
LSD on posting things only, nothing else
PAD made and £1 to sealed pot challenge.;)
Removed QVC from my online favourites and unsubscribed from email updates to remove temptations
Did another day of my 100 day challenge which I am counting now as I no I won't give in today! :rotfl:
Another day tomorrow to keep on tryingfinal unsecured debt to repay currently £8333Proud to be Dealing With my DebtDFW Nerd 1154 Long Haul 1550 -
Hi all - thanks for all your kind words. Tbh, we knew my Mum's cousin was not going to last to Xmas and had been in a hospice for the last week of her life where, I'm told, the staff were superb and couldn't have done anymore for her or her sons. Amazing that they do what they do on the back of jumble sales and sponsored events. It has made me think about what I would do with my assets in the event of my death - I can't think of a better place for the money to go. I don't have any kids (thankfully, wee gits!) and so the money could go to no better place than this.
On a financial note, came home to a letter from Egg offering to refund me my credit card charges - just like that! Balance now a full thousand pounds less than it was in June (through nothing but sheer hard work and focus!). Now all I need is my PPI cover back and the whole thing will be cleared. I live in hope!Almost debt-free, but certainly even with the Banks!0 -

Me too!
I wrote a spreadsheet today that:
Calculates the running totals from 5 savings pots and balances these against two debts, a running total for these
Offers advice on the possibility of full and final settlements (based on a ratio that I'm trying to get evidence for atm)
Says 'yay' or 'nay' for whether or not I could afford to make a settlement offer.
It was quite pleasing to see that, after my Student Loan repayment kick in the teeth, I might still be able to clear my debts by next summer :money:0 -

Hello everyone!
OH's sister got married this weekend - wasn't very MSE but we had a fantastic weekend. I'm exhausted and feeling very happy. I managed to get a little money as part of the festivities and I have added it to my sealed pot. I reckon there's about £50 in there already! Today is about resting and doing a bit of catching up.
We popped into town today and spent a bit of money in Woolies. I bought loads of cards for 50% off which will go in my stash. Also found some wine glasses as I was down to my last one.- [strike]Add the last £125 to savings account to pay off CC when 0% runs out. This takes my debt down to just under £15K which I had really hoped I'd achieve by the start of 2009.[/strike] Done - I'm so pleased i've managed to do achieve it!
- [strike]Update spreadsheet and signature [/strike]Done
- [strike]Submit gas and electric readings[/strike] Done
- [strike]Washing and airer dry[/strike] Done
- [strike]Try and aviod turning on the heating - it's so cold![/strike] On went a blanket and a hat and I was toasty!
- [strike]Get a good proportion of my work report done - I've split it into three stages and I hope to finish Stages 1 and 2 today![/strike] Had to stay up late but I've made huge inroads into it.
- [strike]Free dinner at OH's parents tonight! The festivities will be going on for some time as we've got family from all over the world.[/strike] I am back stuffed and have been invited over for dinner tomorrow!
- I'm sure that there's more but I don't think I'm going to manage it all.

Hi Everyone
I walked around in a fug today so it's a major achievement to get any of my list done. I really am pleased about getting below the £15k mark. Thank you to you all - you've really helped me.
