Glad to have been of assistance buffy!

Well, I have eaten my sandwiches that I made from home, but I am still really hungry - not just peckish but really hungry, so I am still going to have to buy more! Might go to Boots and use points instead of real cash, then I won't have to get any money from the bank.......

    the best laid plans huh!

Morning Hypno - still lurking as I haven't much to add recently (back in debt due to car purchase :rotfl: and yummy new boyfriend taking up all available head space not in use by kids lol), but wanted to pop in and say hi. You seem really positive at the moment and not as run down and exhausted as you were at times earlier in the year?

I'm impressed with the sandwich-making. I've fallen into the habit of buying a sandwich at work 3 days a week, which I've worked out will cost me about £400 a year  so I HAVE to get organised and stop needing to do that!!

Hi snaggles, you loved up person you! Yes, fairly positive - but I go through those "absolutely knackered" phases that we all get when I just want to have a normal life with no need to run myself ragged to earn the extra money.......and to have a lovely holiday......and......and.......but that won't happen just yet so I have to get on with it.

My sandwiches were not that impressive, I can tell you - "past its best bread" is not quite the same as a big fat freshly made cob.........:o

  • Hi hypno, I have been lurking for a while, know how you feel with the sandwiches, I have a costa coffee and a cash machine both within a small distance of my desk and its all far too tempting after a slow munch through my own bland sandwich.... must be strong and resist!
  • Hi Hypno

Your diary is the first one I read every day, a real inspiration to those of us who have mad bursts of debtbusting, burn out and then start again, but I am determined that 2009 is going to be different.

Not having much luck at the moment though as was supposed to have someone come and look at my spare room today and they didn'tturn up! Not even a call or a txt to say they weren't coming - how rude is that??

Anyway, just wanted to say hi and thank you for being such an inspiration to so many people.

shazzer, my office is ON TOP of my bank branch - literally - if I stamp my feet on the floor, their light will shake :rotfl: and we are in the centre of coffee culture so I find it really hard - much harder than I ever would have expected.......of course, once upon a time it wouldn't have been a problem, lots of disposable income and lovely coffee to spend it on.......*sigh*

shabbychicfan - that is very  rude of them not to even let you know - I cannot believe some people. I suppose you just have to say, that if they are that reliable at this stage, probably best that they didn't turn up, otherwise you might be forever waiting for room rent. I hope you get someone else sorted soon.

And yes, 2009 will be different for you - just stick with MSE!!!

Well done on resisting the temptations around you.Why are shop bought sandwiches especially from a bakers so much more filling?
