You could of course lie in on your ski-ing holiday? Nope? Thought not.
How about on bank holidays? Can you ear-mark one of them for a lie in, or is there ski-ing then too?
Thought not0 -

No millions here either lucielle.....it is SO not fair
I am re-visiting my "dump it all in a skip" idea.......I said to OH last night that if we were to move into a brand new house, with nothing but the clothes we stood up in, how long would it be before we had the stuff we needed.....and we agreed that we wouldn't need much and certainly much less than we have now, and that we could probably manage pretty well with only buying the minimum of stuff as we went along......
......so I pointed out that if we could do that, then there was no reason for me not to get rid of everything from this house, and more or less start again......and he had to agree.
So, I have made a list of "must saves", such as insurance documents, passports, P45/P60s and tax papers.......and everything else paperwork wise, is going.....I am going to be ruthless.
When I have done that.....which will be finished over the weekend I expect, I am going to do the same with the ironing pile - if no one can be bothered to iron it, and no one is complaining about a lack of clothes, will they REALLY miss the clothes that are currently at the bottom of the ironing pile.....I think not - everyone has sufficient clothes for work, school and play, otherwise we would be walking round naked, so the rest is just surplus......so can go.
In the meantime, I am going to do a storecupboard challenge - so that I can rid the cupboards of anything useful - anything left will find its way into the bin.
OH no longer thinks I am absolutely barking - and I think once everywhere is clear and more spacious, everyone will be right behind me!Successful women can still have their feet on the ground. That's a great idea Hypno...that's exactly how we are doing it.Except taking it to the tip as I'm too tight to pay for a skip.0

I'm in profit already.......amongst the many piles that WERE in the kitchen......I found a £10 boots voucher from pigsback :T
So, all the paperwork on the kitchen worktops, in the "filing trays" (there's another filing system that didn't work then  , and on the kitchen table has been separated into "absolutely must keep" or "get rid, NOW".
Now having coffee before we finally have dinner - jacket spuds have been cooking in the oven for aages and they smell soooo goood!Successful women can still have their feet on the ground. Howdy all!
Didn't get the job. I found out today. I'm ok about it as they said my lack of industry experience in that section of the company would be detrimental. Loved my enthusiasm but couldn't back it up apparently! Never mind, I'm taking forward some very good experience with this such as the testing and the level of questioning and I'll make sure next time, I won't fail!
As long as there is a next time!
Shaun, I'm sure you'll be able to find yourself a good deal! I think everyone is sounding like they need a holiday! Debt Free since July 2011 and it feels good!
Now it's all about finding a deposit for a house!
How do you amass £70k in a year?! :eek:0 -
That's a shame, walshy - but there certainly will be a next timeSuccessful women can still have their feet on the ground. They just wear better shoes. (Maud Van de Venne)Life begins at the end of your comfort zone (Neale Donald Walsch)0
