I haven't completed 5 weeks yet - this is the beginning of week 5.....so four weeks completed, which is still a bloomin long time!!

One dooyoo review done, and 20p on scratchcards.......and a broken tooth - no idea how it happened, but it is a good'un, so is bound to cost me.......:mad: Oh well, can't be helped I suppose.

Apart from poorly children and tired parents, I hope everyone is ok x

Haven't taken his temperature though, but he has been burning hot the last two nights.

I'm glad you slept well shaun!

I am just tired with the consistent "doing stuff", work is absolutely manic at the moment, and with running the children about and running etc, I just don't seem to have had any time to recharge.......I really do think that a week or two in the Seychelles would sort me out big time! Ah well, I can dream!

house is so quite that i can hear the birds outside
so weird especially at this time of the morning!!

on the holls front
getting my sis to look at Portugal for us, a wk in the sun would be sooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo
nice but will have to wait for the school holls
up to now we could always go when we wanted..
from over here hols start at 350 400 per person in s/c appartments
so €1600,not much chance at those prices ( theirs no real budget company's over here) and oh days have to be book each 1/4,
and don't fancy last min panic deals to spain,,

could you not arrange a wkend with min commitments,
and do a quite wk end..
or day,,
from lunch time u and family swich off phones!!! go for a walk in local woods/beach
go for coffee/ice creams,,(take flask) come home have picnic,,bbq..
rent dvds and put feet for 1 day
total chill out day might do you all good

Long day yesterday and today DS is going into hospital to have operation on his knee. Goodness what the consultant thinks I do to my children - thats both of them in less than a year that he will have operated on !!! :rotfl: :rotfl:

I've got to work all day so DH is taking him, which means I will know nothing !!!

Anyway - hope everyone is starting to feel better, only one more day till the weekend :j :j

Not possible shaun.....skiing commitments are quite high - both Saturday and Sunday each weekend, and with OH working 7 days a week, there is not really a great deal I can do to change it. It would be nice not to have to set the alarm one morning but we have to get up early every day.

It's just a case of getting on with it, but the idea of a proper "day off" is a long way off

Nice idea though :T
